Nice steady lap until Planzgarten when a Porsche 991 cut across me as I was going over the hump. If I didn't go full brakes, I would have hit him. If you know the track, you will know that Pflanzgarten kinks right just before the hump. i dont know exactly why i´m here, but i think YT just knows things^^ looked like great and chill driving to me, so keep it up, it was good to watch PS: if you wanna do more stuff like that, you could think over a rear camera, or a different angle of your front one

Hi, glad you enjoyed it! It is the standard CAE shifter, yes. I don't believe they do different sizes, it's just one size for the E9X chassis. It is this one: cae-racing.de/CAE-Ultra-Shifter_2219

How do you find the Intrax with ARC comfort-wise? Or is your setup too track-oriented?
Not as comfortable as the standard setup below 40mph/70kph just because the roll-stiffness is now so much higher that if you hit a bump at these speed the whole car rocks from side to side. But above this, I find it much more composed above those speeds on the street and it seems to glide over jumps the faster you go. If you are driving around town all the time then you will very much notice the extra stiffness. On the Nurburgring, it is FAR better than the standard suspension with EDC in every way. You can definitely still drive and enjoy the car on the road but I would only recommend this setup for a trackcar or track-oriented car.
@@robreeves9825 Thanks for your extensive reply! I appreciate it very much. What kind of springrates are you running? I'm asking because on Intrax website they say that with ARC you can afford to use less stiff springs and gain more comfort in the straights, but still have minimal body roll in the corners. That's why I was asking about your springs. How does the car feel in the corners? Is it still natural or do you really have virtually no body roll? I'm seriously considering Intrax for my e46 M3. I now have ST XTA coilovers but they feel too stiff in town and don't provide enough support on the track. With Intrax I was hoping to get better comfort and still better track performance.
@@jurajhrivnak4638 No problem! I don't necessarily understand Intrax's spring rates but I am running a very typical Nurburgring spring rate so probably about half way between a track rate and a road rate? They are definitely not on the very stiff side. The rates are 120kg/cm at the rear and 150kg/cm at the front. Which translates to roughly 675lb/inch rear and 840 lb/inch front. So fairly stiff but nothing crazy. Good thing about Intrax is that they custom make the set for your requirements. If you don't want a stiff setup they can dial it back for you. I think you could definitely get away with a softer spring if you did a lot of road driving. ARC almost completely eliminates body roll, with ARC you can have a softer spring and still have the body control of a hard spring. Best of both worlds. You do not need upgraded anti-roll bars with ARC. It's not only body roll that it eliminates but pitch and squat too. Another thing is that they have a huge range of damper adjustment, 50 clicks rear and 30 clicks front which is a lot more than most of their competitors. I know a couple of E46 guys who run 1K2 and they absolutely love them. I think the fastest E46 of the Ring, the Setra motorsport E46 runs them. Let me know if you have any more questions!
How do you like your Intrax 1k2 setup? Have you ran other coil setups? How does it compare to them?
I absolutely love them, they are perfect for the Nordschleife. The harder you push the better they get. I have not run other setups other than EDC with Eibach springs. This is much better than that for track. I would very much recommend Intrax 1k2 for the Nurburgring!
