Same here, I buyed the JC pad, but the plastic it's horrible, and I have a pair of official joycons that doesn't work, so i used the original shell for the JC pad

Had a bit of an issue with the direct download from the official site. Had to find the updater, which downloaded a .exe version of the game, which you just drop into steam and it works and updates regular!

They're still working great.

I think that's the set up I have, but for some reason it still registers clicks on both the left and right touch pads, where i just want them to be scroll and touch like a mouse, only without the clicks 🤷‍♂️ I'll have to try different things in the settings, or maybe I'm just pressing too hard.

@@collectorseditionukI was having the same issue as you showed in the video, but it’s just because the soft press threshold is set too low by default for the desktop controller configuration. If you crank up the threshold value you won’t have accidental clicks anymore. For any game I want to use the trackpads for mouse control, I set the threshold to 13,000. It’s only at 4000 by default, which makes me wonder if this is a hardware calibration issue that makes the trackpads overly sensitive on some units.

Also u can't get a hub with video and put it on a display add Bluetooth mouse and honestly it's not bad

Already have a hub and use it in my tv at the minute, could do with a monitor maybe instead. I already have a wireless mouse I use with my laptop, but never considered a keyboard for the deck and the keyboard isn't too bad to use in all honesty 🤷‍♂️

512gb SSD is $37 on Amazon rn. Ordered it.. should work just fine. Most others are around $50

You can't do it on the device unfortunately. It has an sd card and a slot where you can take it out, put it into a pc and it shows all the folders, just drop the game you've downloaded into the corresponding folder.

How long did it take?

I'm realising a bigger SD card does not solve the 64gb model I bought... As all shaders and things proton uses, has to go on the internal! So I may look at upgrading my internal soon... I've used nearly all my space! It does seem easy enough though.

@@collectorseditionuk Its quite easy. I bought the 64gb model with the intention of upgrading it. 2TB is sitting nicely in my kit.

It might be because the box it's shipped in just shows what it is. Valve logo, Steam Deck logo and name, and so on. Really stupid from their part.

Yeah when I got mine it has all the branding all over showing its a steam deck, even an address saying its come from valve too 🤦‍♂️ It'd be nice if valve had learned from this since it's release but apparently not...

Update for anyone wondering mine came perfectly fine was shipped through ups was delayed a few hours but the box did not say valve or steam deck on it and it was delivered just fine

That's really good news for anyone who's looking to get one now. Only took valve 2 years to fix it 😅

It's actually not been too bad in the case neither the intake or exhaust are covered, however it's rubber.. so I shall try and seek a better option 😅 Any suggestions? Don't want to just use it raw incase I drop it!

@@collectorseditionuk I decided to splurge on the Killswitch case from Dbrand. It's worth every penny, been serving me for over a year traveling over the world and the case only has scratches on it but zero structural damage. The rubber on the grips feel brand new, even now. I highly recommend it if you travel a lot and want to protect the Deck - otherwise, any cheaper silicone or hard rubber case will do.

​@@nukfauxshoI think Amazon stopped the combo, but I got the skull & Co steam deck case and carrying case bundle for $25, was a great deal, it's just like the carrying case that comes with the deck but it fits in it with any case on the system

There isn't any logos on the back at all, they're just plain with the design/colour! The finish itself feels good though, doesn't feel like stickers to me and the plastic (while obviously cheaper) I have no complaints about for the price.

They're still going strong, work perfectly off the system too and I've even had them sync up to a friend's switch great too. Like I mentioned my only gripe is the vibration is a bit "off" but otherwise they're worth it. You can just get these from aliexpress in even the limited edition designs, like zelda or splatoon etc. 👍

Try closing lutris and relaunching it. I had to close it, go to gaming mode, then go back to desktop relaunch it and it was there after that. If that doesn't work, restart your system and launch lutris, but it should populate eventually.

Exactly my point, felt very hard done by when I got it and realised... definitely looking at the sets more closer now 😅 Still it's a great set if people don't have the originals.

I am tempted, but at £99 I may not bother, I already have both the original series and the movie versions. So it doesn't really do anything for me when there's only so much they can do to make the source material look better 🤷‍♂️

@@collectorseditionuk I would have preferred something new, the Zeta movies even, but I still had to add that 4K set to the collection (though only my brother has a 4K TV, I've not upgraded yet). Hopefully more Gundam announcements later this month at MCM London is it?

Yeah I've seen that, before it is odd... usually you expect MORE for a complete collection not less... All the anime seem to be slimming things more and more recently with releases..

Still going strong today. So is the chainsawman one. I've actually bought a few other bits like shirts and stuff from aliexpress I should show off that fit really well for what they are. Couldn't recommend them more really.

Unfortunately amazon don't have them anymore.. they have others but not these. However, aliexpress have the same quality ones there with some special edition versions and new designs like these 👍

Agreed what I've got here is much better than the weird Malaysian version I had, but it's purely a stop gap in hopes all the anime release victory 🤞 Although at the minute, they seem to be holding back not sure why... don't get me wrong I love build fighters and try but I hope they don't release the rest straight away as I want actual gundam shows!

@@collectorseditionuk so close to having the majority of main shows. Victory, X and Age not having had a previous UK release will mean more BBFC ratings fees for AllTheAnime and I can only see the biggest Gundam fans adding them to their collection (I love the AGE mobile suits)

Disc 1 is the game disc which installs like half of it, then disc 2 finishes it off... but there's still an update along side them annoyingly...

@cptncahill underneath each other, but on the discs there isn't anything obvious to say 1 is an install disc, other than the tiny writing I show! One says T8XD1 and the other ends in 2, otherwise they look the same.
