WOW WHAT AN IMPLOSION 🤦‍♂️

I haven’t watched your analysis/rant yet, but I was actually at the game. The thing my wife and I were most aggravated by was how many men we left stranded on base, especially in the first half of the game. The other two big issues we had were Castellanos not performing well on defense, and our relievers (and even Nola) giving away WAY too many walks. I’ll be interested to see if your rant has any of the same points.

Remember when 1:00pm mid-week starts used to be called "Business-man's Special"?

This team is definitely World Series or bust which is the top proirity but this offense has looked horrible. You left so much runners on scoring position but then you strike out or pop up to end the inning. Marsh not making that catch cost the game and Stott and Ranger looked absolutely horrible this series. Also I don’t want to go to deep but I also noticed this, it was 3 balls and no strikes for Harper and then he strikes out. Again, I’m sorry for letting out my inner negadelphian but this series was horrible and they need to bounce back against Cleveland. I’m also sorry that my 2 comments were so long 😅

JJ you have every right to complain and be angry because that’s part of being a fan. I completely agree with your takes, this team has been unacceptable the past 9 games. I don’t mean to sound like a negadelphian but you give up 18 runs to the Athletics out of all teams and you get walked off twice in 6 games. I know that the Twins are a solid team but they should not have lost this series. If they lost the game yesterday then they could have gotten swept. I do have faith that they can take 2 of 3 against the Guardians and bounce back though.

I’ve calmed down since the stream and got some faith that we’ll start winning once we get home. I was kind of used to the eagles season and the the sixers season how they started out so well and tanked at the midpoint. But the Phillies team is different, this Phillies team is the best. 2024 WS team right here
