This is SO cool!! I love that you got to see the Demon Slayer exhibit! Demon Slayer is my favorite anime right now. I also love Fire Force. I liked Soul Eater a little more but was so happy when Fire Force came out cause I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the art style. Such a cool change of pace for the channel and would love to see more and even might do something like this for my channel. Super inspiring!

I think u are comparing a best quality watercolor paper (100% cotton) with a "cheap" washi,,,I think you need to compare Fabriano/Arches/etc with a Kumohadamashi ( a professional paper for japanese painting). Be aware that washi could be with or without sized by dosa (sized with dosa the washi will not spread the water so well)
