I've been in 5 car wrecks and 2 motorcycles. I was in intensive care in 3 of them. I worked on an offshore drilling rig where my life was spared 2 times when my crew didn't make it. According to what I've been taught in church, I don't think I nor most of the people who call themselves Christians are going to be saved. I've tried to serve God the best I can, but I always seem to slip back to my sinful ways. Mostly because of addiction. I am a weak man when it comes to self-control. It has gotten to the point when I pray I feel I am wasting my time. And now, recently, I've been told God doesn't hear my prayers anymore because of my weakness to addiction. All those wrecks have me in so much pain, I can't get comfortable enough to sleep or anything else without painkillers and sleeping pills. I don't even want to get out of bed most days.

Oh God, you don't know how much I needed to hear these divine words of wisdom today. They are so encouraging. Bless this family in Christ for the work they do in sharing Your Word. Every time I feel closer to Your promise, it's just a few more hurdles to come my way. I'm mentally exhausted Father, the stress never seems to end. Insecurities, fear and anxiety come at the exact times when I think I have done all I could possibly do to get through these difficulties. It seems like the devil doesn't want me to receive the spiritual blessings You have prepared for me ahead. Bless be You oh Lord and Holy Spirit, despite these set backs, I never stop having faith in You, oh God, creator of heaven and the earth. I believe in You and I trust You. I know it will not always be night because You are bringing me a new day, oh Lord! Please let Your presence and the protection of Your Holy angels surround me wherever I go. Thank You, oh God, You are so beautiful and I adore and worship You. All that You do in me is all for Your glory. I only ask oh Lord to give me a moment to take a breathe, even a short one before I continue this journey and follow Your path. Even a pilgrim needs to rest, even my Lord Jesus took a rest and when He did, He wanted to be with You alone. Father I want to be with You alone in prayers because that's the only place I feel comfort and rest. Bless You oh Lord, Your name be glorify! I love You Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. If I didn't have You in my life, I don't think I would still be here today. I ask all of these in my Lord's and Saviour's name Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua Hamashiac! Amen!
