If you're looking for a good f2p Battle Royale though, I'd advise Super Animal Royale. Don't let the cute looks fool you, the game has surprising skill expression, and the top-down perspective really sets it apart. The only paid items are cosmetics and it has a reasonable rate of progression for players who don't spend. The battle passes are the best I've ever seen too. No FOMO. Once you buy a battlepass, you can complete it anytime. And you can even buy past battlepasses.

Yeah, it's just a shame that they made all their decisions based on money. New weapons? Naw, selling skins for new characters earns more. Not selling enough enhancement runes in the cash shop? Make the accessories enhancable. Need to give players a reason to hunt new gear? New stat: Counterforce. Honestly, some people blame the RISE update, but many problems existed long before that.

I hear the sadness in your comments and the nostalgia. Indeed it's sad if a beloved game dies out... Wonder if this game exists somewhere on an active private server?

The game is user friendly up until lvl 105 (you can skip stories, and receive a lot of gear for free). Once you reach lvl 105, I would recommend that you apply for a guild and try to party up with those people. I found a guild myself that is really friendly and helps you through dungeons etc.

Thank you for sharing, I do feel the same about the game overall. There is a lot of free stuff with regards to customization that you play around with, instead of having to open up your wallet, so it does make the game more enjoyable to play. Once the performance issues are out of the way, one could still enjoy a casual dungeon with friend, I'd say ;)

if you have a giga PC you can turn on "unlock framerate" in the beta settings and it feels a lot smoother.

I'm actually coming back to it after about a decade, and I'm amazed it's still around at all, it's about the best action MMO I've ever played. It seems like we need a sequel at this point though.

It just seems like Nexon would rather focus their attention on new F2P games like War Haven or The Finals. Introducing new characters are not the only way to save this game, especially when they're removing content like PVP.

@@kyuhnfukaikage1283 Path of exile. While my suggestion is not exactly POE model, the underlying idea of making microtransactions of purely cosmetic value is the same. Of course, POE is a huge success with vastly higher revenue then Vindictus, globally.

I tried it years back but it didn't hit like vindi did. then i tried getting back into gaming this year after long break and this guy tried to sell me on POE (while also bashin on vindi) and try it again. i was curious at first but then i literally caught him within a few days on a separate post badmouthing POE and calling it predatory...

That playcap was the thing that got me to quit forever.

bro literally there isn't a game since 2010 till now that managed to come close to the combat mechanics/system of this master piece but nexon is cancer and this is why the huge potential that it still has it's squandered by a greedy "C"ee yo"U" "N"ext "T"ime. of a corporation too many good games died cuz of greedy and incompetent management ( use TERA as an example if u wish and see what else that company that shut down the game did )

@@Z.a.m.a.s.u The combat was top tier, that's what made me fall in love with Vindictus. It was a MMORPG that really put itself apart from things like TERA ETC. I played it for around ten years. Was best Karok EU for a while even. Shame this game died like it did. I still miss those good old days, staring at the stars when lying dead in Twilight Desert with 2 others commenting how beautiful the night sky was while the final one alive solo'd Ikrium.

It used to be waaay harder haha. Back when there was only Vella Evie and Kai and the level cap was 40. They really took the difficulty down around the time they brought out the character after Sylas.

no play what you like, and it's ok if you know how to bounce shots, it's just that heavies have higher survivability because of armor and HP, and if you survive you pay less for repairs

You probably played like 2 days as volt and came to this conclusuon. There are literally hundreds of different way you can play this game and 79 warframes with different powers and playstyles. Warframe is the better game and it's not even close. Destiny 2 has better graphics and gunplay but that's about it. If it werent for nostalgia, half of you guys wouldn't even play the game at all. Not even mentioning the fact you're required to pay $50 every year just to get the latest content, which is utterly shameless on bungie's part.

Either u are dieing in the first 10 secs of every match, spamming gold, or ur doing something else wrong. Playing low tier tanks with credit boosters should get u more than 9-10k per match. Plus 1 tier ten math in even a super heavy like th is7 costs like 40k credits MAX. 15 battles is exasperation

Playing with the R10RBFM, with credit boosts on, even if you lose, should make you at least 30k. Don't fire gold rounds all the time, the rate of fire should be good enough and penetrates most of the time (not frontal to heavies off course).

I don’t think you should be concerned too much with marking a tier X. Probably a few more realistic goals you could set for yourself.
