ABGH’s NEXUS: Nurturing, Excelling, and Unifying Sisters in Medicine Conference 2024 Highlight
We are Queens.
NEXUS 2024 was more than a conference. It was the start of a movement to create a community of sisters in healthcare across all fields and subspecialties to uplift and celebrate our power, impact, and value that we bring to our professional and personal spaces. Centering our career development, self-care, and need for community, a space created for us and by us that was cherished and authentic was at the heart of NEXUS.
Powerhouse speakers like Drs. Uche Blackstock, LaShyra "Lash" Nolen, Kimberly Manning, Judith Joseph, and so many more incredible Black women in healthcare graced the inaugural NEXUS stage. Find out more about NEXUS, and ABGH, at www.blackingastro.org.

Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week 2022 with Tyler J Williams, ABGH & COCCI!
Loved this ❤
Love this thank you all for the transparency
I didn't realize how much sacrifice Tyler makes just to entertain us and he does all this with jokes but also with dignity. I appreciate him. It's hard to entertain people when you sometimes don't feel well and even harder when those very people you want to uplift sometimes want to tear you down. Power to you Tyler!!!
Tyler James Williams. I see you and thank you, for being brave, vulnerable and caring enough to remind everyone that we are all human and going through something and that even after wining awards and accolades saying, sometimes I’m not fine. And that’s okay too. Thank you all for this conversation. Melodie, Dr. Sophie, Rwenshaun thank you for sharing your stories and your truth and the truth that we don’t have all the answers… but we will keep searching.
