SLAMMING MY 8TH GEN CIVIC ON MAXPEEDINGROD COILOVERS !! INSTALL + REVIEW AFTER A YEAR !!
Hey guys today I will be showing you me installing Maxpeedingrod coilovers on my full bolt on 8th gen Honda Civic! You'll see me install the front coilovers, rear coilovers, adjusting the coils to fit 18in wheels, taking the car out after for a drive and my review of the coils!
I just have the coils, no alignment yet or adjustable camber arms. The car is a 2008 Acura CSX with a K20Z3 and 6 speed manual transmission from a 2007 Civic Si coupe. It is on 225/40 18x9.5 +22 Kansei Tandems in the front and 215/45 17x9 +35 Enkei RPF1s in the rear.

This video shows you how to get into your trunk when your power trunk does not work and your trunk cable isn't attached or failed. In my case I did not put the latch cable back properly and some equipment unhooked the cable from the latch. Should work for all Fa1, fa5, fg1, fg2, fd1, fd2, and fd5 chassis civics with the 60/40 split so you can put the broom stick through and unlatch from the ins...
How are the speakers holding up so far?

I'd say it helped it was noticeable probably reduced road noise by 15%

Yo I ordered these exact ones for a 06 Honda civic but on the website it says it’s not compatible but says from 06-11
I wouldn't worry the website might be glitched as there was no civic si sedan in 2006, it will fit tho all of them are the same coupe sedan and base/Si for 2006-2011

@@antsilva92 yea should be I can't give you the exact model however it works really well I also have a adaptor to make the carplay work with my phone
I got a 09 accord coupe worst mistake is the box is to big can't reach around nor over now only way is breaking the truck or the box 😫
Just install COT7 (pillow ball top mount) to my civic 8th gen 2010. Unfortunetly after install and test drive, got squeaking noise can hear from front left side coilovers. Squeaking noise when drive at uneven road. The other side should have no problem. Can you advise actually what is the problem. The mechanic already double check for the screws, nuts and top/bottom lock from the coilover...everything thight- nothing loosed. Need help and some advise. Thx
try tightening the large nut in the center if you have it

Do you have a link for the rear speakers? Also did have have to splice wires or was it plug and play?

If you want to go lower, remove some of the rings on the Preload xD. Another guy with a Civic like mine is running only shocks and a spring for the rear and is hard tucking. Love the car!
I'm probably gonna get the Tein Flex Z's, but if you think these are like the same shit, maybe even softer ride, I might get these instead.

They are 2006-2011 civic hybrid mirrors they come stock on the Acura CSX you can wire them up to have the lights too

The csx is slower than the 8th Gen si unless you grab a csx type s then it's the same drivetrain as the fa5

@@TheRyansLion I agree I had fortune autos on this car and in this video I was taking off real race coilovers that I bought off someone who was endurance racing their 8th Gen, my goal for this car changed after I had my fun on the track with that suspension on 235 AD08Rs now slamming the car on nice suspension is a waste of nice coils imo
