And buddy you don't need to be someone to tell if something not right. They don't really know either how to perfectly "balance" characters as we saw with GTC nerf. Because if they was able to do it correctly, nobody would be complaining like that and it's thanks to our feedbacks that they know if they done well or mess up completely. So if you think that there is issues about they "balances" methods you have the right to complain about it.

​@@Gryfenfer Oh yeah that's for sure: everybody has the right to give their own opinion about the changes, what I tried to say is rather that the developers are the ones with the last word 🤙, and due to my inexperience in balancing games, all I can do from my end is talk about it, as a part of this community

I wouldn't say overkill, but definitely controversial. GT!Chara still has a good bunch of tools in her arsenal that haven't been modified or even touched, though, so I think there are still a ton of pros for her as a glass cannon

​@@mathewtherandomIdk if it isn't an overkill. Gtc as a glass canon means it should deal the most dmg in their combos. Thing that may be true, idk if still the case. But the thing is how many moves she uses to archive that dmg. In one single good combo almost all of your moves will go on cooldown. Thing that is undestandable but gtc relying more on m1 to start because they nerfed her best option to start a combo idk if is fair. But I quit the game over a year now. The meta prob has changed a lot

been asking myself this since the last 2 balance changes. some of these nerfs/buffs make 0 sense and it just makes me question whether the balance team actually plays the game enough to didact these changes for both casual/competitive players (like me).

They should revert that changes and buff defense bc every chara fight is kinda sad it finishes in 2 combos or 3

These last changes have indeed been quite controversial for some people 🫠 which is understandable; it's s not everyday that you see a glass cannon like GT!Chara getting 6 nerfs in a single patch, last time I saw 6 nerfs in one character was Sans But oh well, she got hardly nerfed for a reason, I suppose; now it's a matter of time to see how these changes affect the game's general health 🧐

@@mathewtherandom I don't think much about tanks, because most of them are also ops, but they don't need nerf, The ones who really need it are Gaster and Asgore, because they simply have a lot of HP, defense and damage, Asgore not so much, but Gaster has a lot of defense, and Gaster don't need defense, bc already have much dmg and Hp, also, undyne 2.5 it's annoying, bc if you have more than 230+ ping, is almost impossible to dodge 5, or PB 1, just my opinion.

Gaster's combo does not deserve to do that much damage, and not many characters are immune to karma.

Nonono, it's a TRUE dmg, means it won't care about damagescale, it wont care about DEF at all, aka wont lower DMG in any case (except frisk of 0.9xDMG) But gonna agree, dt3 needs da buff

In normal mode you can do the combo, but the Galacta Blazing nerf is made so as to avoid doing this same combo when "buffed" (A.K.A hitting a successful 5); I was told that this is due to Souls 1+Galacta being too strong, so likely that's the reason for the nerf

You indeed have to teleport; I was just testing if the buff would allow running after 3 instead of teleporting, but it seems not 😔

They buffed gaster to the heavens and beyond with the gaster update 😭

ASGORE and Gaster are both completely unfair lol, but also i'm bad. They're not inherently broken, the disadvantage in the game is just insane (when you're losing you CANNOT start winning without taking like 50% of your health)

@@MasterSanto They usually abuse a game mechanic known as I-frame dashing: when you dash, you have a very brief moment of Invincibility, A.K.A I-frames; if you dash right when Asgore is going to throw the trident, you can successfully dodge it and engage

Ummmmmmm Be good at forcing people go after u by spamming attack that are not a risk like not use blaster 2 from a far. And be good at lmb so that u can defense urself while overwhelmed ur opponent by keep chipping their hp. Im not a sans main btw lol

Not a Sans main either, but he's essentially a long range fighter. From my vague experience with the character, I'd say you always keep your distance so that you can spam pretty much all your habilities (except Blasters 4 and 5, which are used as stamina punishers) And just in case you're new to the game, 1: look for some tutorials on the combat basics and other terms that exist on this game (like RAGE, RISK, and some others) and 2: when your opponent is on the ground while being low on stamina, you punish them by using long-duration and high-damage habilities, like Sans' Blaster 4 & 5 (as mentioned), SSC's 2nd phase's 8, Asgore's 5, etc (make sure to also look that up on RUclips). @@mathewtherandom I have seen that there are several people who upload videos of playing 2 vs 2 or any other mode and almost always use asgore undyne Jevil etc So I want to upload videos of playing alone with Sans Many people believe that he is the character with the least skill just because he spams but the thing about spamming is that you have to know what attacks to use at all times I practice with sans for several days trying new combos and I am a cel so it is somewhat complicated but not impossible By the way, what you said helped me Thank you
