FMM is immigration for to enter Mexico. You might need to do that if going into Mexico.

They have Check In Counter for airlines in Mexico side after you cross. So you will need to buy CBX ticket, fill out FMM Form, Cross the bridge, go through Immigration and then check in at airlines

Without getting a tag you can park for 3 days. If you go to the security desk at Irvine Station they can give you a tag to put in your car mirror and they can issue for more longer period like 3 weeks even.

Yes bedroom can sleep 2, sofa bed can sleep 2 and the benches are not foldable but sleep 2-3 people as one bench is L shape. There were curtains which is helpful as light from cars passing on Pacific Highway 1 hits inside the cabin if sleeping in the living room.

Campsite 118. It was close to the common Restroom and common outside water facet making it easy to wash dishes.

Hi good question. The walk from the long term parking lot is maybe 10 mins or so and with steep climb if you have this same cottage #33. When you first come here for check-in, there is a short term parking lot near the Check In office where they let you unload and take items to your cottage and there is a person assigned who will help you take your items and some passengers in a golf cart also after check in if you need help. Then after you have moved your items into the cottage you have to move the car to long term parking which is across the street and from there the walk can be about 10 mins but they also have a shuttle bus that charges $2 per person if you want to go in that and it saves you some time but you still have to climb the slope or stairs from the bus stop if going to cottage #33.

@@Kimmifer They give a free parking pass for the days of your stay so there is no extra cost for parking. Also they gave passes for two cars so you can bring two cars for free.

Parking when we went in January 2023 was $30/day for premium lot which you can reserve and be guaranteed a spot close to the entrance. You can check parking cost on their website as prices might be different now. www.crossborderxpress.com/en/

We did not go into Tijuana but I do know there are people checking passport before letting you go into baggage claim area do they maybe checking if you maybe authorized to enter Tijuana as CBX is intended more for travel by airport to another city in Mexico

Yes the rent is for whole cottage and it was $245/night for this cottage #33

They raised the rates. This cottage 33 is now $266/night with $7.99 reservation fee. Also you will pay an additional 10 percent of your bill as a donation to Crystal Cove.

It’s $272 now with $8.25 reservation fee. Staying at another cottage next week with a cottage of the same price.

With paid parking you can also reserve and be guaranteed a spot

How can one get a parking spot for $15 a day at the cbx street? I’m flying out Wednesday but they are always full. Is there a certain time where there are some open?

Also, I suggest If you live or know somone in SD just leave your car there then use uber/lyft because I think is more safer . Put your mind as ease

We are vegetarian so for us the variety of food was good but after a while you get bored of it. I would say the food is not great quality. They do a good presentation but the raw food material used may be cheap. Example the orange juice is straight up from concentrate and not pure juice but has pulp in it to make it feel it is real or the coffee shop has good variety of coffee but not great quality. Also Pizzas are great at SoCal Buffet but if you go to Gusto for Pizza you will be upset as not authentic pizza and also the pizzas take a long time to get for take out or sit down dinning. Overall I would say it is 3 stars out of 5.
