Hi from Capurgana. Is not really worth it to come as a tourist. As a traveller , is very interesting. The cost of the food in supermarket is kind of normal, u can find rooms for 20.000 pesos and is very interesting to walk around and hang out with locals, but it can take a while to really discover the non touristic places. I say this, just in case a traveller is here. I have seen only tourist so far :)

I have been several times in capurgana and I had great experiences there. Is one of my favorite places in Colombia. And is actually very cheap, $1 US dollar is around $3,325 Colombian pesos, is a remote place to disconnect. Like every place has its ups and downs, it was a place that was hurt like 20 years ago by the civil war, and step by step is being recuperating it charm. This place is not for everyone if you are looking to experience luxurious confort, but I respect your opinion and everyone has a point of view. There are much more wonderful places in capurgana that you guys didn’t experience.
