I love your products. My only criticism is that you guys do weekly updates on our backorders. I had to keep going every week to the chat to get an update on a PO. This is something that an automated email can do. I know that shipping updates can change, and with the new Chinese tariffs, the prices will no doubt increase but a weekly reminder of approximate date to near approximate really goes a long way!

I’ve tried SmallRig and Tilta, and for the life of me, my iPhone 15 Pro Max cannot seem to receive power and record to SSD. This could very well be an issue with my specific USB-C port that needs repair, but it forces me to shoot HEVC. Do you guys have a recommendation as to how much power one needs to supply the phone in order to power the phone, enable ssd recording, etc?

Great to see you at Kondor Blue, Charles, after being at Canon! Speaking of Canon, can we please get an R5II cage that works with the cooling grip. Nobody has one out there, and a cage like that is what it is missing from becoming a complete and reliable cinema rig.

I shot a Star Wars spec promo at Glamis. Very cool site. Watch out for the wind blowing those sand grains and your reflectors around. You don't even want to find out what happens when sand blows into your sensor cavity.

Just got my Pyxis and hooked it up to my Helios/Sankor anamorphic rig. Also trying it with a Jupiter 8 (85mm) so I can take better advantage of the 6:5 anamorphic mode. What's your favorite steady / gimbal solution? Looks like you're using an EZRig and a shoulder mount. Are you also using a tripod in any shots? Tricky to move between should / gimbal / tripod quickly. Thought of maybe rigging up a VCT-14 broadcast shoulder rig for that.

I really love the picture from the PYXSIS. I am now shooting Thai movie using PYXSIS 6K and DZOFilm Alres prime. The picture was really impressive

Yes, everyone saying "Should have used an URSA instead of a Pyxis", the URSA is a better camera. But this is an indie film and Pyxis just came out and no doubt BMD gave them some Pyxis cams to use.

Nice team, camera and gear. But if i were making a 'Hollywood' quality production i would use the BMD Ursa Cine 12K instead of the Pyxis.

Trying to buy some cables off you guys? Various things, audio, power, USB-C, but it seems like you haven't got any stock left anywhere in Europe. It's really frustrating. I've been waiting for an order for over a month and a half now. Are you guys still producing cables and do I have to go look elsewhere (against my wishes)?

I also ordered this in November and still haven't received it. I called Kondor Blue and they told me that it would be in the next shipment 3 times. I'm trying not to shop another brand because this product look great but I have projects that I'm working on.

I love the cage but from what I can see, it seems to cover all the vents at the top and at the bottom. Would this be a concern when it comes to heat dissipation?

Hey y’all, thanks for the video. For mounting the handle to use with the EVF, it seems losing the middle piece mentioned makes the handle a bit unstable. And the handle can’t slide in if I screw that part on. Is it supposed to wobble a bit or should it be as stable as it is when using it without the evf? I’m wondering if I’m missing anything or if you could provide any input as I just purchased the cage and handle. Thanks!

Hmm, not a big fan of the look of the front hood. Other matteboxes look more minimal and clean. This looks busy and the hood doesn't look like it does much without a flag on it. But, this item is still not released? I've seen zero reviews of this from anyone. You also don't have options for side flags. There is no circular filter option instead of just 4x5.65" flters - such as a vaxis , which would be more affordable

Honestly, just get a iphone with 512g or 1TB and a rode wireless mini and you are good to go. For lenses get a Reeflex G-series lens set and that’s it. All the rest is just a way of killing the major quality of a phone: portability and instant access
