I'm Puerto Rican, but that last item is new to me. Is it like instantly made ice cream right in front of you? Are those little rolls that were put into the cup ice cream? Interesting. It's like Coldstone taken up a notch.

When you hear the scraping of the nice, you are off to a good start with the piraguas. Too many people nowadays use the grinding machines which produces ice chunks, instead of shaved ice. The other problem today is that almost everybody uses the same vendors/manufacturers for the syrups, which are often not great --- less than authentic/natural. In the olden days, piraguas were all shaved, and the sellers made their own syrups, which were authentic/natural, and not artificial.

Love it when a kid orders our food , and is open to new taste and flavors.

I love the Puerto Rico snacks and desserts too.
