Adapting a Dodge NV4500 to GM NP241 T-Case
Просмотров 6 тыс.3 года назад
How to adapt a Dodge NV4500 to a GM NP241 transfer case. This is for a cummins swap on my 91 suburban and I didn’t want to axle swap to a driver side drop and have to purchase a different t-case. I recommend torque kind 4x4 for all your parts. They have great quality stuff, especially the tail housing, and loads of good information on their site. 1. If you have a 2wd trans, get the dodge 29-spl...

EWU Robotics - Box Assembly w/random ordered parts

Winter 2019 EWU Robotics Team: Box it Up Nate - Hank - Elijah - Nick Parts presented in random order in a tray on a "conveyor" are picked up and identified by photo sensors. If the part is needed in the assembly, the robot immediately places it in the assembly jig. If not, the robot sorts the part into a storage area until it is needed. Pneumatic cylinders hold the sides of the box together aga...

super awesome video thanks for sharing!
Cool Toyoerrr
Can you take the 29 spine shaft out of ANB 4500 and put A32 spine Chevy shaft in?
Edit: can you put a 32 spline shaft into a nv4500 out of a dodge so it'll match the chevy transfer case
I think so; my gm was a 27 so i went with dodge stuff. Give torque king 4x4 a call, they will most likely lnow
love her foot in the crocs
Whats the switches gateron yellow or xherry mx red
Boba u4t lubed. Says in the title
@@lilllamaboi okay ty i thought it was the keycaps name
Did you make the adapters yourself or did you buy them?
Made them
@@lilllamaboi is there any possibility you remember the specs for them. I’d like to do the same thing to my nv4500.
@@cmn2gitu255 I don't really remember the specs. But check out torque King 4x4 and see the description for a little more detail
Do you know if a gm nv4500 would bolt to a gm np241?
Yes I believe they came in that pairing, but the guys at Torque King 4x4 are super knowledgeable and can answer any questions you might have
Why not just keep the 32 spline and swap the input on the transfer case to 32 spline ?
The 2wd 32 spline is way too long to mate with the tcase, so i had to switch to the appropriate main shaft and input
👍
Contemplating swapping a Chevy nv4500 into my 88 suburban with a crate 6.5 by optimizer. Still trying to figure out what transfer case would mount up to the nv4500 but also be passenger drop. Any thoughts?
Right on, is it a chevy nv4500? I dont know of any passenger drop dodge ones
@@lilllamaboi it is a Chevy nv4500. Seems like the np208 and np205 are two passenger drop options. Do you have an Instagram for your build
@@lilllamaboi any thoughts on np208 vs np205?
@@DaMAV3R1CK 205 is tougher, but a touch noisier since its gear driven. A 208 would be ok as long as you keep it under 400hp and you arnt doin a bunch of crawling. 205 has tons of aftermarket support and they make all kinds of kits to adapt them to anything
@@lilllamaboi Dodge has a Pass drop t case NP241D from 88-93..... looking at one right now for my 2wd NV4500 i've got for a 68 power wagon. Thanks for the video! if in end up with a chev NP241 it will work too.
i love the poppy, clacky sound it has, great job!
WoW
love how her foot comes out of the crocs a little bit when pushing the pedal down.
Crank the car pumping in socks..
granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should
Lol!
she gonna wear out that clutch by resting her foot on it all the time.
Nope
@@lilllamaboi yup
@@tomkang9272 nope
Keep telling yourself that
Yeah, she's clearly putting small pressure on that pedal in a few scenes
Buena toyota saludos desde honduras
Please, more driving with crocs
Wow lucky girl she’s cute
Im so lucky! She’s a joy to be around
@@lilllamaboi On top of that she can drive stick. Definitely a keeper. Teach her to rev match on the downshifts, she'll be marriage material. Don't laugh, I taught my wife years ago, the only one of three sisters who can drive stick.
@@cj6017 thats the plan man!
Would you be able to whip up a Input shaft spacer to sell? Just got my 29 spline shaft and need to install the smaller bearing like you did.
Honestly I’m not comfortable making a spacer without having the parts in front of me; im not the best machinist so I’d hate to send you a part that doesnt work. I would take it to a friend or local shop and see if they can make one for you
That is a great truck! 22R?
its 2400cc? and how much horse power
Yep its a 22r. Its stock except for emissions removed and weber carb
Damn bro clean and thocky build, nice!
Thanks m8!
@@lilllamaboi Hey, I just have 1 question, which durock plate mount stabilizers did you use for this build? I’ve bought Smokey plate mount stabilizers for my Meko, but they seem to not work. Thank you!
Honestly not sure. Mine were a bit sticky too, needed some fiddling and lots of lube
Nice!! lookin to do the same swap, was it pretty plug and play? Do you have a follow along thread on a forum? Thanks. I am lookin to do this without a donor
Thanks! I don’t have a forum thread. There was quite a bit of fabrication but nothing too crazy. I had two donor chevy’s and the dodge pickup and it saved a lot of time and money for me
man u raged the lil guy
For real wringin the lil things neck lol
I have alot of questions this is what i wanted to do i but i didnt think it would fit with a spacer
Yep i forgot to include you have to make a new crossmember
Now tru the forest
love it!
Cool video. Ever use V-bar cleated snow chains on ice roads? They work great.
Thanks! Nope i havn’t. Never been on any roads that nasty
