In this video you’ll see how I corrected the loss of signal with certain types of backgrounds from my iMac. I hope this solves your issues as well.

Can I change out my front valve cover gasket without taking the intake off?

Probably can. If I’m doing one I always do both.

@@roncollettinc.8564 Thanks, I'm new at this and know that the less stuff I move, the less I foul it up.

@@rianbey1 You will probably find that when you buy the gasket for the valve cover it will come as a set which includes the spark plug tube seals, plenum and throttle body gaskets as well. Do you have a leak just in the front? You do need to really check the back one too as there could be a leak around the spark plugs. I would highly recommend doing all the gaskets at once unless you know the back one has been done before. It’s up to you. Not a hard job and pretty straight forward. The hardest part is getting the old spark plug tube seals out of the valve cover(s) and making sure you get the new ones seated properly. Good luck 👍🏼.

@@roncollettinc.8564 I changed out the front valve cover gasket and inspected the spark plug seals which looked good. I will pull the spark plugs and look for suspicious activity. Thanks!

I would first check the catalytic converter. Sounds like it could be clogged like the one on the video was at the end. Just take out the two front bolts and let it drop a little bit. Crank the car and see if that is it. You’ll know right away. Warning It’ll be loud! If the cat is not the culprit, I’d use a smoke test machine and run a smoke test on the intake to find the leak.
