Thank You! Treasure Planet was definitely a big inspiration for this build. Im not super familiar with Warhammer 40K but I did see the Carcharodons Astra are also called the Space Sharks.
Frankly, it looks like a boring hilt. For all that work, meh.

Thanks! Using this for Dr. Doom is great! Thats why I love this pattern so much, you can use it for so many different characters.
I can't cut the foam. Any suggestions?
If you're having troubles with cutting the foam cleanly Id recommend a few things to look out for. Make sure you use a long and sharp box cutting blade. Use slow and sweeping cuts so as you're cutting into the foam you're also slowly sawing into the foam. finally try cutting off smaller chunks at a time until you get a good cut rhythm. Hope that helps!

To anyone who doesn't have a soldering iron or wood burning tool (like me), I just used a box cutter to carve what I wanted (make sure to draw out the design first, as well as test it on a separate piece of eva foam) and brought a heat gun to it like he did for the cuts in the front.
Absolutely brilliant model! I just know if this was an enemy in a video game they'd be pretty quick and tanky from the front but have a super crit spot on the fuel tanks :D

Go for it! I think those wood hexagons are only a dollar or two at Michael’s craft store. And if you make multiple they’ll all line up together nicely in a honeycomb pattern

I absolutely love hardtack. I grew up in North Africa, one of my favorite spices is Za'tar. When I make hardtack I sprinkle some with the mix and also I love adding black sesame seeds on top with some crystals of sea salt... Ahhhh so simple, yet amazing, especially when camping. a stack of 10 barely take any space at all. I also like to have a small plastic sealable condiment pot with olive oil in it for dipping.
