Good video. Recently, I graduated as an RN and currently working in cardiac cath lab. I am really interested in aesthetic nursing. Any tips how to start, may be ask local spa to shadow nurse for a day? Thank you
How did you get hired with no experience? I noticed no one is hiring without years of experiences in my city. I want to do aesthetic nursing in Nashville, but most of the med spas require 3 years experience.

I got my lip fillers done one week ago I had no pain at all and I had no bruising at all and she did a amazing job with the lip filler she even said it to me that she had many many customers who got lip fillers done they all got bruises she said you ate the first one who got no bruises

Dude wtf lol so much bruising I had that once out of 3 times and it was juviderm xl that I used. Did you get 1 or 2ml??
Is it possible to skip going to bedside before doing aesthetics ? I’m about to go back to school to finish my degree but I don’t know if having bedside is a prerequisite for other med spas to want to hire you to see you’ve worked with needles and patients or how it works wanting to go right into it
I think it’s probably really rare to go straight to aesthetics but an option would be to go into plastics or dermatology. Get experience there and then move to aesthetics.

hiiii!!! I had a question so in community college for my educational goal do I have to transfer to a 4-year after AA/AS? or earn AA/AS degree but no transfer ??
Hey! Depends what state you’re in. Some community colleges have nursing programs. Usually it’s a couple years of pre requisites before you can apply though. But a lot of states require you to get a bachelors to get hired as a nurse.

Most of my training was on the job! I did one online course through “palette resources” on neurotoxin level 1. I’d also consider doing a dermal filler level 1. But don’t pay a ton of money on courses. These ones are usually less than $100 and they’re virtual.

That’s right! I think people assume that because you’re working in a med spa, your clientele is all ice cream and puppy dogs. It makes things more difficult at times when you’re used to high acuity patients who really have reasons to “have problems,” and you end up with bougie clients who THINK they have problems.

@@nursenadiak the thing is, the doctor didn’t even wanted to put fillers, but I feel my natural lips were more thin than normal with age so he wanted to make a skin booster 😒 I’m not very impressed and will look for another professional for the next time unfortunately. I asked for volume and he did the contour of the lips and now I have barely any of the extra volume, which is all I wanted since I liked the shape and everything else from start.

I think it’s easy to conflate Gods unending love and the idea of Gods path for man (for the sake of argument let’s assume homosexuality is frowned upon by God). Giving into sexual hedonism I don’t see him judging anymore than other sin. I think in the abrahamic faiths the cultural stigma against homosexuality has given it a false pretense of being worse than most things unfortunately
Which is absolutely why people see Christians as such hypocrites. Because many of them look down on a certain “sin” while they participate in other “sins” on the daily.
