The Most Comprehensive David Ortiz Interview Of All-Time || Call Him Papi Episode 1
Hell yea I subscribed instantly hermano 😊
Hate on ARod all you want and I’m a diehard Sox fan…guy belongs in the HOF along with bonds and Clemens..people forget bud selig is in the Hall and he was running the show when steroids were rampant. Let’s stop being foolish here
Arod looks 55
All I saw and heard were his ears.
That 09 postseason was legendary status
We need a sandiego podcast to start interviewing the padres team
No eyebrows?😆
07 Arod waswhen he became GOAT
bro's been on the juice since hs
I like ARod but the correct answer should’ve been 2009. His regular season stats weren’t wild by his standards. But he went on a tear in the playoffs & exorcised the playoff demons on his way to a championship
David is huge Everyone looks small next to him Love this man❤
He looks old
I can't believe he looks so young in the middle 90s know he looks ald asf
What about the best player in the game Aaron Judge
He looks terrible
I’m still tryna find em 😂. Say what you will about arod he seems like a good person to talk to nowadays
LIAR LIAR LIAR you did this using enhancement drugs stop it just go away!!!!!!
Arod being all about himself as always
The question was "what was it best year" do u expect him to talk about another person ?
As good as soto is. He makes too many mistakes in the outfield to be on this list
He was a monster in 2007 from spring training and on. People get on him for the 2007 postseason but pitchers weren’t pitching to him at all and his “protection” didn’t live up to their ends. They didn’t make the 2008 postseason and we all know he carried the Yankees to the 2009 World Series championship. After his ring I think he got complacent like I did my life’s goal and then he started getting injured
I'll give him credit for 2009 of course, but you can't blame his teammates for not "protecting" him from Game 5 of the 2004 ALCS all the way through the 2007 ALDS when he absolutely vanished in the playoffs. And that was during a span when he won two MVPs. I think he just got swallowed by the pressure of playing on the NY stage and finally broke out in 2009 after many years of postseason failure as well as his reputation taking a hit when he admitted to using PEDs earlier in the season. He didn't have much to lose at that point from a career perspective which seemed to take the weight off his shoulders. Of course, he screwed up again in the following seasons and assured he will never see the inside of Cooperstown, but 2009 was absolutely his redemption tour.
Loved A-Rod then and I still love him to this day.
Latinos will always dominate mlb
What a shame that he cheated. He didn’t need to cheat. Same for Bonds.
😂 ppl like you are weird
Bonds definitely not. Already great. We don’t know when Alex started though. Could have been high school for all we know. Maybe he’s Ernie Banks without the juice. Still great but not otherworldly.
Best year was 09 because he actually came through in playoffs which is what matters
That’s what matters to you not him. He was asked the question not you. Weirdo
Holy shit that team would’ve been even more insane, imagine having to pitch to arod, Ortiz, and manny all in a row
Manny would have gone to Texas in the trade if I remember
@@ThatKidMiguel22 oh ok, do you think the Red Sox would have traded nomar then? Or move him to another position?
This man would be the perfect Norman Osborn especially back then he has the same hairline and I think he used to have waves.
Harper, Trout, Betts have left the chat
Randy arozarena
You were Not really good without roids
Arod became a yankee on his 19rbi game vs angels. Jesus i remember that game. It was like a man possessed by a focused demon 😂.
Arod was a better player than shrek
Idk man 2007 was a fantastic year but to me his 1996 year was even better, truly all around performance
Is he black or white?
Either he Dominican
06 he had an ops over 900... definitely no where close to his worst year
Arod is a beast man this guy is all around inspirational imo
I just realized he and tiger sound very similar when they’re talking lol
Rs
Then in 08 I got caught using steroids
He is terrible calling games for espn. How he got the job is beyond me. No one likes him, and he is a low iq know it all.
A rod should never have come to NYC!! His personality never fit it in, too much pressure and Jeter was purposely an a hole compounding the issue and making fans hate him more!!
No judge .... 🤯
Arod you were a monster don’t forget it. IMO best SS ever. He really had it all. Say steroids haters I know what’s coming.
Arod is so fake 😂
Glad you know him on a personal level to see he’s being fake, please then MRious1128 do tell us what they talk about
You a hater
Judge is the best right now for sure
What about Oscar Consuelo?
36 driving in a 100 was great in the 80's
Great numbers today easy with a good avg
Those are almost MVP numbers in the 80’s & today
No manny!
Manny is gonna look at this and screen at him more in the dougout
This clown put bellinger over judge 💀 the drugs got to his head
Beliinger over Judge and Devers is insane
Judge is Overrated
Devers ain't even top 10
Its 2021
So embarrassing, before dishonor and all that
