This video comes from the bonus content blu ray disc, found in the PS4 collector's edition. At this point we don't know if it was really planned to be in the game, if it's a rejected idea.
Some metal gear fans will look you dead in the eye and tell you this game wasn’t unfinished.
It's a Phantom Pain in my ass that this isn't in the game...

@@youssefkassabi not that easy that old engine fox was made for ps3 and xb360 it wasn't made for ps4. ps5 or xbs at all It will be like remaking the game from scratch
So why did Eli make the same demands for big boss’s body in phantom pain and mgs1
In MGS1 it was because he needed to fix a problem with the Genome Soldiers and BB's Body could possibly help with that, and in TPP its unknown because this is an incomplete mission and was never in the game so this remains unanswered but i think Sahelanthropus served as a basis for the better Metal Gear Rex since Sahelanthropus in his chicken walk mode looks exactly like MG REX, Sahelanthropus was too ambitous and the assets used in Mission 51 was reused for Metal Gear Survive which revealed that a wormhole had transported Sahelanthropus to the Alternate Universe of Dite

@@darkking615 First of all, what makes you say that those systems couldn't handle another chapter? Secondly, they aren't supported at all anymore, so it obviously wouldn't go to those systems.
@wunder4402 First of all xb360 and ps3 were weak and limited consoles for example xb360 couldn't handle mgs4 you can't push a console beyond it's limit no matter how hard you try 2 It's not that easy Because the game and that old engine fox were both made for xb360 and ps3, it wasn't made for ps4 and ps5, so it will be like remaking the game from scratch

I was addicted to this mission even though I did not play it. Just look at the new place. It is amazing. I wished I could complete this masterpiece. I desperately want to go through this mission. Look at the shapes of the soldiers, they are so amazing.

Eli joined Foxhound after both Venom and Big Boss were already killed by Solid Snake.

@@darkking615I don't think so, the limitations of the consoles aren't what held mgsv back, they wouldn't have put this much progress into a mission if they thought the ps3 or xbox 360 couldn't handle it
@crashbash8549 Dude the game had a huge downgrade and most of the missions we saw in the trailers we never saw them in the final game And you can go ask any game developers about how weak and limited were xb360 and ps3 Or you go and see the difference between the Witcher 3 and 2 or red dead 2 and 1 yourself And both Xb1 and ps4 released with 8gb ram but ps3 had a 265 mb and xb360 had 512 mb ram only xb1 and ps4 were like 16 times more powerful than ps3 and xb360 Can ps1 play mgs3 ? No Can ps2 play mgsv or gta v ? No Can xb360 and ps3 play games like red dead 2 or devi may cry 5 ? No You can't push a console beyond it's limit no matter what

How has nobody made a mod or hack of this mission the cutscenes r 75% done Sahelanthropus an rescue the children from the previous missions are already in the game plus liquids model jus need an ascetics change maybe

Tbh this looks complete except for the facial motions and i guess the lighting, which basically makes this look fan-made but still pretty good
I'm still upset that one of the most fun games in the series was left half finished, there's still tons of stuff in this game without it being complete but it's sad that we missed out on the full story.
Why Kojima didn't divide the game in two parts? We forget mg survive and a remage of mg 1 and 2 would be possible😂
12:20, thats the scream we got in one of the trailers that never made it to the final game. Shining lights even in death has a similar scream but this is the one, just the floor is not brown and burnt and is grass.
At 1:19 what is the smaller metal gear to the left of Sally? It is too big to be D walker and also has those canisters sally has on the back.

it's really a shame that they made him rush the game at the end because that would make a great ending if not one of the greatest, it ties with the overall story and canon, adding new areas and a new huge and awesome battle with yet another metal gear!

Already a great game but it would've been a masterpiece if it was properly finished with this.
I cant believe that someone on their sane mind decided that they should keep that shitty rescue Quiet mission , and cut out this absolute banger .
Snake going colorblind after a serious injury and shooting Eli was a really clever piece of writing...that I never would've understood if this mission was finished. This actually happens in the game (you really do go colorblind for a bit after healing a serious injury), but it's something I never once actually noticed, because the game never draws any attention to it. I only noticed it after watching this video, when I had just healed and I realized a couple of red cargo containers had turned gray. In this cutscene, Snake actually does look down at his red bionic arm which has turned white, but it would be no guarantee that his arm would be red to begin with. The player can equip any arm for the mission (the rocket arm is silver, the blast arm is black, etc). So the game would need to either: a) come up with some reason to force Snake's arm to be red for this mission and then draw attention to it multiple times before it turns white to ensure the player would notice, or b) explicitly demonstrate Snake's colorblindness during a different cutscene earlier in the game and/or flat-out explain it to the player
I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the game default your arm to the red bionic one when you head into the Quarantine Platform during the second outbreak? I'd assume they were gonna do something similar here, just with this slight variation of the "Biohazard" fatigues
@@BatsAndNights it does, but that's one mission out of 50 plus side ops where the vast majority of them let you choose which arm you want, and which the vast majority of players will choose something other than the default red arm 🤷♂️
It’s not in any cutscenes but it is in one of the early tapes. I only noticed it now because I’m replaying it
@@blizzsmokey1 Yeah, it's definitely established in certain places, but the fact that you only noticed it because you're replaying it proves my point. I bet the vast majority of players would be like, "What? Why did Snake shoot Eli? Why was his suit white for a second??"
@@romilrh ye I'd assume they'd still let you choose your guns, just not your outfit, which would be locked to the "Biohazard" fatigues
Their problem was not wearing the wetlands camo. Instead, they wore white suits.
And KONAMI insists that the game is actually completely developed, This was meant to have multiple more chapters not just 2, feels like kojima was still writing up the story, we could have like atleast 4-5 chapters and some area in the game are bit left out.
I hate hideo kojima for removing this that much when I found him on the side Ops mission I drive over him with a tank
It’s likely Hideo didn’t remove it on purpose, Konami gave them a limited time to complete MGSV so they were unable to completely flesh it out. Plus Hideo only wrote the story for this one as Konami moved him away from his team.
