Workshop Therapy
Добавлен 27 мар 2013
Spending time in the workshop, creating all kind of stuff, mostly woodworking.
I like to make things, but I love to make them perfect.

Music 👍👍👍💪🤝

You need to add a warning to this video, that Planer will eat your fingers to the bone.
Very smart
so i made it too :D just by using woodprix plans:)
Absolutely beautiful design!
This was great to see. What offset did you use between them to allow fit?
@@Tminsquero1975 no offset at all. But I would use a 0.1mm next time for an easier fit
This was great to see. What offset did you use between them to allow fit?
A Master-Piece👌 Thanks for the Show👌
Wow that's awesome man.
Is this the real speed ?
No, it's 8x as far as I remember. 3500 mm/min, that is for sure
@@workshoptherapy just one pass to remove all the wood?
Yes, but with a 5% step over
@@workshoptherapy step over meaning stopping, sorry but just starting this cnc art
It is the amount of overlapping. Well, it's in reverse, 5% means the lines overlap by 95%. So just 5% of the tool diameter cuts on each pass
What software did you use, and what is called this type of plug processing?
I'm generally using FreeCAD and sometimes blender with blender cam add-on.
You can visit my other channel, it's exactly about the software part: www.youtube.com/@opensourcecnc
@@workshoptherapy thanks
Nice bey blade arena
Very nice !! If I tried doing that on my own I would fuck it up beyond repair ! 😊👍
Molto belli, faccio una copia.
How’s you program a tool path to create the interior angle?
Check my other channel, youtube.com/@opensourcecnc , there I have a lot of tutorials about creating the toolpaths
3:48 that is amazing. I know it won’t be as easy as it looks but you just sold me on an electric hand planer
Wow! What a dangerous way to use a jointer.
Does it matter at all if the perpendicular cuts are angled or not? I ask because I have a set of 160cm wide slats I received for free I would like to cut down to 140cm. But I only have a hand-held jigsaw and do not know that I can cut them while level as you have done. The cuts will be made 90° to the plane of the wood as opposed to the 85° that they currently are. Is this something I ought to be worried about, or am I overthinking things?
No, it's not a problem, especially with such a small difference.
@@workshoptherapy Thank you! Big relief. Now to make 112 cuts. Boy that'll take me some time.
Well this is for way later, need to get me the high rise jointer planer
Great job!! Loved the video
Sorry not everyone like heavy metal blasting in there eardrums
How long did this carve take to finish? Also what size is it? Thanks nice work
About 10 minutes to mill. It is roughly 40cm x 40cm. I didn't finish this piece, but it's the usual time for open face MDF, a little longer than plain MDF
a tapering jig would give a cleaner cut line.
Yes! It's finally here! Were you able to include the freecad file this time?
No, I've just worked on the video
Super
Cel mai frumos proiect!
😍😍😍❤❤❤😍😍😍
Not an ordinaru table design!!!
Ahora hazlo a mano y sube un video
That is one fine piece of art.
Thanks!
What beautiful table! Intrigued to see that you don't use a spoil board. Have you ever damaged the bed of your CNC? Thanks so much for sharing. You just gained a subscriber.
I'm glad you like it. I do use a spoilboard, but when I made this I was in the process of upgrading the CNC from a wooden frame one. I barely scratched the surface a few times, before installing a spoilboard, but nothing to worry about. Thanks for the subscribe!
I like your videos. I came across your channel by your very interesting FreeCAD Path/CAM videos. If you don't hate your hands: please have a look on how to use a planer more in a better way! Do not expose the knife more than necessary. You planer has a bridge type guard. Use it! Maybe consider push blocks.
Thanks! Unfortunately, my planer hasn't got such a guard, it has a different type of guard (sliding from front) that I always use when possible. But sometimes I have to stay too far away to get around it, which is more dangerous, as I don't have stability on my legs. Anyway, I plan on changing the whole planer soon.
Hi there. Came over from your CNC channel, this is awesome!. Would love to see some of the fitting you had to go through to fit the picture frame to the checkmarks.
Thanks! It is a project that I made a few years ago. I didn't have the cnc. I remember that I made a template using some scrap pieces and used a trim router to cut a groove in three places.
Seems like. I would want to cut the hole in the wall first. God forbid there is something behind the wall that you wasn’t aware of. Plan B. Lol😅
What’s the name of the router bit?
Lovely work!
Selten so einen Schwachsinn gesehen😅
Awesome. Thanks for sharing and good explanations of everything.
Hola, ¿qué medidas tienen los listones de interior?
18x18mm, the thickness of a panel
Great Job 👌 comes on my Todo-List👍
thanks for sharing. I love it
Nice work. Smart processes. Well done
Thanks for another great video!🇦🇺👴🏻
К сожалению для большинства твои видео бесполезны, т.к. не у всех есть станки с чпу
foarte frumos lucrat! mult spor in continuare!
Mulțumesc!
Wow. Very nice corners ❤
Thanks!
Foarte bine lucrat! Și frumos design! Mi ar placea sa vad o prezentare a CNC-ului.😁
Maybe next time you could fins some real boring music.
What type of router bit is used for that?
You can see it in the video, at 5:17
