Can you please help me? i have some bugs with this shader, on version 1.12.2 , paintings and some mob models are shining like iron or glass when i go far from them. is it possible to make some changes in the settings to avoid this problem ?

First off, great vid, man! Love your narration (the accent rocks!) and energy. I'm not sure why more folks don't mention this -- The #1 / biggest cause of low FPS shaders Minecraft is if you have two graphics (GPU) cards (like an 'Integrated' and Dedicated one), 90% the time (especially each time Java and/or Minecraft has an update) your Windows is only using your low-ram "Integrated" one to play Minecraft. *To fix* : Make sure Minecraft ( _"Java binary" or "OpenJDK Platform Binary" -- hit CTRL-SHIFT-ESC with Minecraft running to see what it's called_ ) is using your Dedicated GPU card -- *NOT* the 'Integrated' one -- by going into Graphics Settings in Windows, looking for "Graphics performance preference," then either finding in the list there (Or adding with "Browse") that same "Java binary / OpenJDK Platform" for Minecraft you looked for in Task Manager. Then ( *Important!* ) tell Windows to run it ' *High Performance* ' vs "Let Windows Decide." This will force MC to run on your actual graphics card with its burly onboard RAM, not your low-RAM integrated one. Cheers.❤‍🔥

Just want you to know, despite how many times I do a new world, I always come back to this video for the settings because this had the best settings by far.

To anyone wondering why your light block (torch, froglight, glowstone etc) isn't glowing like it does in this guy's video or other Minecraft videos, do this : in you shaders settings Go to lighting then go to Blocklight color, here you'll see options like Blocklight red multiplier, blocklight green multiplier and blue multiplier Increase each of the multiplier to max value (2.00) except the red multiplier, keep red ones a bit lesser ie keep it at 1.90 (In short, Just find "Blocklight color" option, and increase green and blue multipliers to 2.0 and red to 1.90)

i have no idea why but my menu looks entirety different and i cant adjust light shaft strength and my sun is blinding

I’m trying to follow this tutorial and I don’t understand how did you get in “shader options” in my game menu all I see is “back to game, advancements, statistics, give feedback, report bugs, options…, open to lan, save and quit to title. Idk if I’m doing anything wrong bc I downloaded everything needed. Can I pls get some help ?

Hello can you please do another tutorial for complementary shaders version 5, because most of the settings are changed and the names, submenus, and sliders are pretty different. So its pretty hard to sync this tutorial with the current version.

Very helpful. I used this video to help me change my settings at the time. Now, the creators seemed to have changed the shader menu. Could you make an update video?

Nice video, I also found the too red lighting to be a bit irritating but once I tweaked the settings a little bit my game now looks fantastic

This is exactly what i was looking for, everything i wanted + keeping the Minecraft look Only problem is, i can't figure out a way to make the sun's reflection on the water a square, since i like to keep my sun vanilla Other than that, perfection 👌🏼

i know this video is 2 years old, but i just got these shaders and can't seem to find half of the settings in this video, though most importantly for what i want are the world curvature settings. were they removed or just hidden somewhere in the settings i can't seem to find?
