13. I remember being very surprised when they hugged like that. I knew they had some connection, but I thought it was that typical relationship that only existed to entertain the audience with sarcastic jokes. I didn't imagine Damon really caring about Bonnie or vice versa. That hug really surprised me because there was chemistry, a chemistry that activated my brain and made me realize everything that had happened between them up until that moment. I love Delena, but I can't stop thinking about these two, and how they deserved better.

What a sad missed opportunity for what could have been a beautiful ride on that bonnie and Damon ship 🚢 and their epic hug when she finally made it back home has now become legendary with people around the world in movies and dramas are always trying to redo that iconic hug .. when Damon saw Bonnie he had this crazy smile and he opened both his arms almost like in slow motion and she ran to him. It was just the way he he u folded his arms to receive her that made that hug so magical .. we are only left imagining what could have been .. it could have been so beautiful 😍

How would Bonnie and Damon be any better than Damon and Elena? Caroline is still Bonnie's best friend just like she is for Elena but some people hate on Elena for getting with Damon because of what he did to Caroline in the earlier seasons but how would Bonnie and Damon be any different if you hate on Elena for that then you definitely shouldn't ship Bonnie with Damon either

when he smiles at bonnie, he kinda looks like the original damon before he became a vampire, like his true untraumatized 'good' self....I haven't seen him do that in any delena scenes.

Yeah at first I was all for damon and elena but when elena forgot damon it started to feel forced and when she went into a coma he and Bonnie definitely had chemistry and even before that they had a spark so I definitely think they should've been endgame even tho it would have been really sad to see Elena and damon break up

When I watched the show for the first time, I was too young to understand some disgusting things like racism, but I knew that Bonie was my favourite character (much more than Elena), because she was so strong, independent and interesting, and I always had the feeling that she wasn't getting all she deserved, for example a decent lovestory or more presence, and now that I'm old enough to see beyond the screen, everything has sense (sadly) and I can't stop thinking that they could do MUCH better with her. Bonie always and forever my favourite one

Damon was always in love with Elena and the resemblance with katherine is what drew him and attracted him towards her and the betrayal of katherine hurt Damon so badly that his hatred towards her made sense and he being in love with Elena also made sense Bamon definitely could have been a great pair but more than a romantic relationship I always enjoyed their friendship.....Not every relation should end up in love...Friends can make a good pair.....So Bamon and Delena both rock ❤️ Stefan and katherine would be a great pair and would be very interesting had not katherine planned to take up Elena's body as a traveller and if makers had given some other twist and let katherine be alive showing her miraculously come out of the side effects from the cure being sucked out of her like the way Amara sucked it out of Silas and nothing happened to Silas and also Bonnie had taken considerable amount of cure from Elena to give it to cade but eventually gave it to Stefan..Also if that was the case Stefan would be alive at the end of series and he always deserved a happy ending....He could have ended up with katherine and Caroline as all of us wish could have ended with klaus as klaroline was a wonderful pair and their chemistry was commendable...Also I wish Enzo was not dead as Bonnie deserved a happy ending too If so was the case we could see best ships Damon and Elena (Delena) Stefan and katherine (Stetherine) Bonnie and Enzo (Benzo) Klaus and Caroline (klaroline) 🤩

I know I’m late, but I’m my opinion, I personally don’t want them to become a couple because it would ruin their relationship, and they don’t really seem like they would be a couple, they are just really good friends (best friends) who bonded in the 1994 prison world. The second one, people can like each other as friends, when a guy and a lady like each other, that doesn’t mean they like each other romantically. For number seven, Bonnie saves everyone, that’s what her role in the show it and Damon saves everyone he cares about. I feel like every good friend duo bickers like an old married couple. And, doesn’t everyone mess with each other? He does stuff for Bonnie because she was the one who saved him from his hell and he has to pay her back some how. And, of course Ian and Kay are gonna ship Bamon, it’s who they play, but it is just my opinion. (Don’t take any of this to be offensive)

In fact, the book version of Damon and Bonnie is a couple because their chemistry is so incredibly strong. Damon and Bonnie are my second favorite couple after Klaus and Caroline.

Another story never finished: Lily was as an heretic both, witch and vampire. And she used both powers. In the show you have to have witch genes, either from an old witch family (like Bonnie) or by a circle (Geminis) or by heritage from the first witch and way back from the first travelers (like Qetsiyah and Silas). Even when not used in her Salvatore marriage, she must has had the witch genes and therefore Damon and Stefan had them latent, too. Even when not used or being a vampire. And Elena, as a descendant of the Petrovas (like Katherine), must have had Traveler genes as well. This explains why Bonnie, Damon and Elena were able to visit the 1994 and 1903 Gemini prison world where Kai and Lily and the heretics were imprisoned respectively. But not Julian. And Jeremy could only visit the 1994 halfway, as a ghost. (Because he was a clairvoyant medium anyway.) But that also means that later humans, Damon and Elena, as well as their children, were latent witches. And why witches were associated with these vampires... Or why the Salvatore brothers were obviously associated with witches (e.g. Emily Bennett) before 1864. Upon examining Stefan's mind, Qetsiyah narrated the following: Qetsiyah created the afterlife for paranormals, and separated the dimension from the normal afterlife so that should Silas take the cure, he could never go to the afterlife with Amara, but stuck with her forever in the paranormal dimension. This means that the cure does not fix the vampire soul, but only makes it bearable for a body that has become human again. With the cure still in the body, either you have to kill the body consciously to die, or have the cure sucked out. In this case, the body ages immediately to its true age, which is fatal for an old vampire. And now I'm already wondering what would have happened if Damon had actually waited 60-70 years for Elena? And only then sucked the cure from her? Elena would have aged rapidly in an instant! - Furthermore: the afterlife for paranormals, including travelers, since the end of the dimension, is either the normal afterlife or life as a ghost on earth, like Enzo. Therefore, after the death, Stefan meets Lexi, Damon is revealed to be still a vampire soul, and Elena is in the heavenly afterlife. But wait, - Elena?! She's also committed direct and indirect murders, is a traveler and a former vampire. And she's allowed to go to heaven???

For me the writers just had to make Bonnie Damon's new love after Nina's leaving. Stefan got Caroline. Damon waited 145 years for Katherine and got over it. If Elena would have been killed at Alaric's wedding, it would have been okay. How often did that girl quit her relationship with Damon or was flirting with others? Even erased her memory. Well, instead the writers made Enzo Bonnies love.

Somehow it looks like as if Bonnie had fallen in love with Damon in the prison world and who knows would have happen if both had be longer there. But there was Elena - so Bonnie choose his friend Enzo. But you know, if a close friend would get so depressed that he/she wants to commit nearly suicide I would not think what my friend is doing to me, but asked how my friend is feeling, how to help him/her. To go into an unlocked coffin and starve to death, dry out, is for vampires in the show so much terrible pain and takes long, that I really can not understand such selfishness from Stefan and Bonnie. Bonnie acted really cruel. The scene how Damon told Bonnie what he had written to her was so sweet - again you could see it only took some kindness, understanding, forgiveness and love from the others to bring out Damon's best sides.
