I decided to give you a follow I live in Delaware too. And I just brought my set last week.

I too just got back into this and have the 2024 XRT Ultimate which came with the belted graffix radials and some great upgrades so I never experienced issues however I just purchased the bigger Proline Badlands MX 43 for the medium height grass and some dirt , kind of too big in my opinion for the XRT platform but it raised the vehicle about 2.5 inches more off the ground. We need more tires around the same size as the GRAFFIX but more aggressive

The new G2 1250kv is better then the V1 1100kv.... I have the max 5 G2 with the 1100 kv g2.. absolutely! Destroyed the original tires and then went with the sledgehammer belted instead of the originals. I have to say I would have went with the 1250 had I known how much more powerful the new 1100 is... It's just not right... In all honesty, it would be much better in a losi 1/5 scale. The 1100 can is the same size as the 800 can... Also, the G2 is censored and makes a big difference on throttle... The Bluetooth adapter is awesome on that. I went with the wfo 30/35 gearing... It's an amazing truck. Look forward to seeing what you do to it

Nice job with the Rustler. I don't own one so I really can't speak to them first hand but the videos I watched are impressive. There are so well supported and after market parts are everywhere. Super cool setup my friend. You did an excellent job. 🏁👍

Look more like road tyres than general basher tyres, nothing a bit more power wont fix :)

I have the xrt ultimate. Drift machine for sure. Mine drifts easy probably due to the belted tires that don’t balloon

I also have a Rustler 4x4 that I've upgraded to a brushless motor and 3s and it rips! I've updated most of the steering components (and broken much) and have the Proline belted Trenchers and I LOVE them!!! They don't balloon with the upgraded speeds... How is your suspension set up? Like Camber/caster/toe? I think I saw something with your current set up that would make it squirrelly... mine has kinda loose front wheel hubs just because some aftermarket bits aren't the best (Sorry Amazon) but with the right setup on the rear, you can REALLY stabilize it on straight-aways... Just curious. And just passed where you said you'd rather not break things... I'm with you. Still have a day-job and not tons of cash to replace something every time I go out :-p lol

Best tires are Proline Masher X belted tires, lighter then stock, have them on my Xmaxx I’ll never go back. Deff get a Max 6 when you get bored, you can drop it right in

great video, thank you I've been waiting for a video with the belted Gravix. I wasn't happy with 2 things about my XRT. 1. Tires because I always had to glue them 2. Servos Now I have bought the new 2085R which is absolutely great, and now I will buy the Belted Gravix after your video :-)

My Rustler is permanently on the shelf after buying my sledge and outcast 8s. Great starter, but I dumped way more than I should have into it 😂

Dont be afraid to jump it. It takes a beating.

Change out your stock pinion and spur for hardened gears. Also put the speed gears in.

Do you happen to have the part number for your Badlands? The part that Proline gives is not as wide as our stock ultimate tires. I don’t like that.

Ok. First, jumping into a woodchip pile or leaf pile is great! lol. Think of it like a dirtbike. Start by giving it a little gas to keep nose up and if your nose is too high u let off the throttle and maybe rev a bit. Be careful it’s a learning process and your car is really nice. lol. Hit me up, I just bought the 6s Kraton exb and about to order the new 8s or the traxxas xrt. Hit me up.

What is the most affordable batteries you run in this???

XRT is awesome, you won't want to go back to 10th scale after driving a 5th scale truck...the battery hold downs will loosen up, Power Hobby sells batteries for it with supplied adapters that work great, so no need to change factory plugs, I use both Power Hobby and Traxxas batteries...The red looks great!!!

Nice truck and nice run. I love the 5th scale Rc’s. I don’t think they are as durable as the small Rc’s but theres somthing about the size and how easy they are to control

That’s an amazing looking RC! I really like the red color on it. What makes you go with the XRT instead of the Xmaxx? I’ve been researching for a while now since im switching hobby and I have this and Xmaxx on my wish list. I really want the Xmaxx but every time I watch an XRT video it makes me double guess myself

If I can put a little bit more into it for the big rock guarantee, the big rock will give that for a run for the money I just need to get different tires for and other things for and I’ll race you and I’ll guarantee the big rock can come out on top or least close to it. The big rock is 1/7scale and that’s what, that is daughter vehicle is1/5 I guarantee it will give a run for
