Mama... I am heartbroken at this story. I just want to thank you so much for sharing your story and I am so so so sorry that you had such a horrible time with your care team initially... I cannot imagine... I'm so glad that you found a good hospital that helped you and your baby... We lost our little boy on July 31st this year... We have a very similar story... It would take me way too long to type but our little boy was missing a portal vein in his liver that was not detected in the womb... He was measuring small had short long bones, had several heart defects, developed hydrops which they detected in the womb... When he was born he was code blue for one minute and his health declined very rapidly outside the womb and he also had some physical abnormalities that went undetected... I had to have a semi-emergency C-Section at 35+4 We had to make the decision to let him go 2 days after he was born because he was having multiple organ failure and the doctors couldn't do anything else... There's so much more to my story and my heart goes out to you... Thanks so much for sharing. It's so easy to feel alone and I cannot believe how similar our stories are... Our babies are in heaven with the Lord with new bodies playing together. <3

How the medical team handles a situation makes a world of difference. Even if the outcome cannot be changed, that's when the parents need so much support and care and compassion. I am so glad that you changed the hospital and got a medical team that cared about you and Silver. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My 3rd pregnancy i only gained 8 pounds. I had a very hard time eating and what i could eat was usually fruit . I started drinking protein shakes to make sure i was getting enough nutrition. Everybody was like your baby wont grow if you cant get over the nausea. Well turns out she was 8 and a half pounds so it worked out lol. Im 13 weeks pregnant with my 4th now and have the same thing going and assuming it will last the whole time like last time but not worried about weight or growth this time. 😊

I recently watched another you tube video about a family that had two losses due to this same reason. It turned out to be genetic and can lay dormant like seeming to skip generations. I think it said that girls are more likely to have it.

My story is very similar to how you let your baby go and leaving the hospital empty handed is the worse thing

There are class action lawsuits over the formula these nicu use on preemie babies. Look into it. It causes Bowel rupture and death

You never have to beg and plead. You can refuse any treatment you don’t agree with.

They are never out than in and I’m so sorry for your loss. Hospitals make a huge profit on preemies. Buy a home Doppler this time and check your baby each day. Try not to worry, everything will be ok this time. I would and have told my dr No! My ob said birth is needed at 29 weeks and I said no. I went to 37 weeks 5 days with a perfectly healthy baby/

Sounds like your babe had Oligohydramnios and there are a few possible outcomes depending on why the amniotic fluid went or how much and how long the fluid had been gone.these types of pregnancy babes do have good outcomes but like i said depending on different factors as i mentioned above.if it's a worse case senerio then those babes usually dont survive. im shocked you were not given a diagnosis.its common enough loosing fluid and all doctors and technicians who do ultra sounds and such should know.if they say they never seen well they should not be working at their job.there is no way doctors or specialists or technicians haven't got a clue a amniotic fluid in a pregnancy.wheather you believe in termination or not with a not so good outcome the doctor was just doing his job in offering.he must give all options.its up to each individual to decide.even your mid wife should have had answers.

Yesss me too. I’m currently 13 weeks and I’ve been feeling movement for the past few weeks now. Since about 8/9 weeks. Last week I screamed because it felt like something touched me. It was such a powerful kick or movement.I was only 12 weeks.
