no mention of "Newman's Landing? it is a named sub-zone directly west of the dwarf/gnome starting area that was accessible by swimming (or flying after cataclysm) between wetlands and westfall. It is a small alcove with a dock, a house and had a bunch of skeletons of dwarves, children and possibly some gnomes. One of the skeletons was decapitated with an axe sticking in the wall with the skull sitting on top of the axe and the rest of the body collapsed below it. it was really creepy. I spent a lot of time there trying to piece together what the scene was trying to tell us. from what I remember I came to the conclusion that the house was attacked by orcs based on some weapons laying around.

Hi idk if I am too late for anyone to notice me, but I knew it! at 11:55 a few years ago, maybe 5 or so, I was flying west from booty bay and apparently I DC mid flight, so I kept flying and way far out beneath fatigue I saw an island on my minimap, there was no island on the surface of the water, maybe because it was removed or because it did not load. But it was on the mini map. I never found out what it was about. But thanks, now one of my mysteries of experiences in wow has been solved :D thx.
