you can try jit regular utm with a pc and altstore and you'll see better performance... but you have to tether to a pc every time you want to boot the vm

I usually used a boot disk when I wanted to play doom because my old dino PC at the time was JUST fast enough to run Doom ok, Choppy in some bigger maps.
