I was there in 1999 and worked in Resorts casino and at Steel Pier 😊
Whoa, I didn't expect to see a split-second of Event Horizon show up here!
Sure patch you can use it
Hi, I am part of a rock band from the NL. In the 90's our singer spent his high school years in Maryland, and as an ode to this special period in his life he wrote a song about it, called '20854', referring to his postal code. We would love to make a video for the song, containing old video material from MD. Is it ok if we use some snippets of your video for that? That would be awesome! Hope to hear from you. Sjef
I haven't been there since this filmed . Many good and bad times there but i loved the beach there and the waves that crashed in were better than Floridas .
Casino ballys
Glad to find your video … I’ve got a couple up here from the mid 90s myself…. But other than us, it’s kinda slim pickins 😏 I wish I would have taken so much more video each time we went… I sure miss that place in that era and earlier. arcade era 😊
From that point there to 2008 was the best Atlantic City ever locked. Need to get rid of the democratic control there.
I miss Atlantic City. I was doing good as soon i moved to Florida i lost everything. My family. Cost me divorce i dont see my kids. If i new this I wouldn’t moved. 12 years of marriage smh.
still a dump
Sadly, OC Md. is such a bad area to go to nowadays.
2 yrs later the world changed forever. :(
I was thinking the same thing seeing "SEP 11 1999" in the bottom right corner.
I just can't watch these videos where the camera is constantly moving back and forth. It's making me nauseous. So, while I remember OC well from that time frame, I'll just go back later this summer for the real thing. A lot of those hotels are long gone now.
And it's a lot darker now!
My family would stay at Caesars when I was growing up in the 90s, and have so many memories of the old layout before the remodel. I keep searching for photos or even a video of the inside + Ocean One Mall, but no luck so far.
Aww Candice keep it strong in your memory for now 💞💞💞 relive it whenever you want much love to you and your family 💞💞💞
I have seen a video of ocean one mall ill try and find it for you
found it. 11:30 into the video. ruclips.net/video/JSO7lH53c80/видео.html
@@razzati420 Thank you!
Wow I found a goldmine thank you so much for sharing 💕💜💞
Seems like forever ago.
It was forever ago; the world has gone to hell nowadays.
I grew up working here off and on. I always enjoy seeing OC back in the day. I was born on the Shore and have a bunch of family that live there so fortunately I got to spend a lot of Summers there and when I was old enough I got to work on the boardwalk. Starting around 1996 or 1997. I worked at Sportland and FunCity Arcade. Good times. Thanks for posting.
Wild to think that I could have very well passed you one night lol. I was barley 7 yrs old when my family took a trip from upstate NY down to the shore in the summer of 97. Our hotel was right in the beginning of the board walk. So every night after dinner, we would make our way towards the end of the board walk. The smells, the loudness (but not like a mall, more like you're a camp vibe)with waves crashing, the bright lights and all those the sweet/candy shops with the salts mixing in the air. It was like those times were made for kids. Those were the memories that I remember the most about the 90s. Oh and the screaming bloody murder kids as you make your way into the mini theme park. On the last night, we made a family promise to take a walk to the other end as a family time.. And so we could hit up the beach to take pics. My mom and I snuck off to the Laffy Taffy shop to load up on a big Halloween size bag of those Sea Salt candy, every falvor ×50. We hid it in the hotel room to surprise them. My brother and sisters were pissed until we got back to our rooms. Good times...
Same. Started working summers at 15yo in 1995 till i was 21. Family still lives in west OC. I partied on every street of that video lol
Wow that view of Tropicana before they built tha quarter tower and everything... I remember that 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Tropicana looks the same!!
Thanks So much for the video. I've been many places but my all-time favorite is OC, MD. 1999 was my senior year. We stayed at the century I
The waves were GREAT That year
It is amazing how much the boardwalk has changed. Thank God they tore down those stores in front of Bally's casino and opened up that beautiful courtyard. Thank you for posting. I really enjoyed taking a walk down memory lane 😊
Miss the 90s
surprised your walking on there they had it blocked off when i went there 2 years ago pretty nice though
Will StJjohn this is no also pre 911 kinzu dam was alot more open then I'm thinking
Great football stadium. Terrible baseball stadium. This brings back so many memories!
my opinion exactly, i miss not seeing 3 RIVERS STADIUM lit up at night. as i come out of FORT PITT TUNNEL and drive along FORT PITT BRIDGE.
0:10 that sounded like a couple of teenage boys
I've been there in 2004 when I was 3 for Fathers Day! My dad went there to Ohiopyle and started going in Feb. 2004
Aaaaahhhhhh... I'm a huge fan of airport videos so thx so much 4 uploading this dope swaggggg!!!
thank you for this! i grew up at that ballpark and miss it dearly. the new stadiums are great, but there will always be these memories to cherish.
exactly 2 years before 9/11 damn
Amazing how much the landscape has changed over the last decade. Nice touch of showing a Fu TD run at the end!
Lanny Frattere and Bob Walk!
i notice next of the Pirates Radio Network booth at the old Three Rivers Stadium was the visitors radio network booth, on May 14, 2000, it was WTMJ and Brewers Radio Network (Bob Uecker "Mr. Baseball", Jim Powell and Les Kasper). By the way, the person seen next to Bob Walk was not Lanny Frattare, it was Greg Brown. Frattare did that game with Steve Blass on the Pirates TV side that day, Brown did that game with Walk on KDKA Radio that afternoon.
why its not spooky thats a car wow
if i believe right your on the kane side
It sounds spooky at the end \
its weird i can hardly even remember this...its been ten years damn
