Born and raised in Corpus. I still cry when I listen to Selena's music. I didn't know who Selena was when I was in 5th grade and heard about her death. As soon as I heard her music I could not stop listening. I then saw what she looked like and I was blown away that she looked like me...brown skin, dark brown hair, brown eyes, hispanic/Mexican-American. Now my daughters know about Selena and love her very much the way that we all do. Our daughters listen to her music and have done their research about the tragedy and everything. They cry too when they listen to her music because it's so sad how her life was cut short and she was a beautiful soul but she's in heaven. She's a beautiful angel and we will never forget her. The world will never forget her and her music 🙏🏼

I’ve cried countless tears over Selena through the years. Since I was a little boy. Her story and life is so touching, I mean it hits you right in the soul. This is my first time watching this, and it really puts the reality into perspective. They were all up there, trying so hard to be strong, and yet Selena couldn’t be there. Hearing her voice is what broke me down. It’s not just a movie that I fell in love with as a child. The was a real woman, who was simply living her life, and living out her dreams. Her life was stolen. Everything got taken away from her. What a loss😢😢😢😢😢
