Well done John...I really would say even though we have our past and and future but our present is the true driver, either it choose to put the car in Park, Reverse or rather step on the throttle and step forward. This is the only reason why Christ came, he who is in Christ Jesus has become a new creature old things have passed away and all things have been made new..the vehicle is "Believe". The reality was it was never you who did all that you were only carrying out instructions coming from a realm that is smarter, older and powerful than than you powered by Satan. Once we accept Christ and we move from receiving instructions from Satan to Christ through the Holy spirit what is in the future is too much to remember the past, because until now we were dormant and useless but the new life is filled with the purpose why we were created and there would probably be so much to catch up too. Examples to affirm Paul was a killer, David was an adulterer and killer, Rehab was a harlot. (John 16:9 The only sin God sees or would judge us on is we didn't believe in Him)
