I received my short story really quick, and I loved everything.

I gave up on Short Story for a while. It’s hard for me to do any style box because I am extremely picky about cuts and colors. I was sort of angry after my last box because I told them I don’t wear high necklines or earth tones and they sent me a brown sweater with a sort of frilly mock neck. It was a cute sweater if you’re a warm-toned woman with small breasts, but I am busty and cool-toned and it looked awful on me. I think my stylist misinterpreted my needs. But it’s not always the fault of the stylist. The risk of any style box is that you are the mercy of what’s in the inventory at the time you order your box. I want a wardrobe refresh, so I am thinking I will try again. I am using videos like yours to see what is up with the inventory these days, so thanks for posting. I am still on the fence as I am not sure the pieces you received would suit me, but they are cute, so maybe I will give them another try and hope they have some stuff I like. They did send me my favorite burgundy pants last year.

My faves are the moto jacket, camel colored pants and the skirt of course!

I would keep the moto jacket. You clearly prefer that one over the one you already have. You could sell or donate the one you had until now. The midi skirt looks great but the question is: why don't you reach out to midi skirts that often. If you can find out the deatail that is holding you back, you know what to look for. For example, is it hard to walk in the skirt because it's tighter around the ankles? In that case, maybe a-line might be a better fit if you can find them. Do you want pockets? I am not surprised that you send back the jeans and the top, since you already have pieces like that and it doesn't seem to top the ones you already have. With the cami top is, do you like it better than the ones you already have?

Cute moto jacket. I liked the velvet cami for the holidays. I was getting Short Story Box each month but sending 7 pieces with everything over $58 I am having to pause my boxes from them. I am retired and don’t need as many clothes. I have to really, really love something. I still have some clothing in my closet with tags!

Yes, those pieces are all fantastic. And you look great in them. My personal favourite are the first pair of trousers because I'm looking for something like that either in brown, beige or olive green. BTW if you wash the jeans at 86°F they shouldn't shrink. And normally they shouldn't get so dirty that you need a higher temperature for them.

I had a bad experience with Petite Ave. The only thing I did was ask them not to send sleeveless tops. They said they didn’t have clothes for me and they were cancelling my subscription! I was hurt and mad! I have no idea if there was a different reason. I get Stitchfix and am very happy with the petite clothes they send. I understand Wantable now carry some petite clothes.

Honestly, I didn't like any of it. I think you can find better pieces that compliment you.

I really do like how the blazer looks on you. That would be perfect for going to the office or grabbing lunch or a coffee with some friends. But yes, if it isn't the perfect blazer for you, there is no point of keeping it. The black dress is fantastic as well. Normally I don't wear black, since it doesn't suit me very well, but he square neckline and the pockets would certainly be a selling point for me. Yes, the jeans looks great on you as well, but if it isn't a perfect fit, I'd be looking some more. Yes, the overall is cute, especially for a more casual day.

I have never been a distressed fan tho. I haven’t received a fix lately even tho I renewed my style pass. Oh yeah, the second pair of jeans look fantastic on you. If you find it in your size, I would go for it for sure. I probably would go for the bigger one but I like to tuck in my pullovers or shirts, even heavier ones. Do you use a colour pallette for yourself or do you look for pieces depending on how you like how it looks on you?
