Thanks for the review. I got a knock off labelled M-Wave for 7,99€ from Bikeinn. An original Spurcycle would cost me more than 78,00 €. and it can be made in USA or even Mars but with 78€ you can feed a third world family for one year. Just bells. Nuff said.

They look quite the same, but when you make them sound... wow. Spurcycle is made in USA, Rockbros is the china bad copy.

so lame that "Rockbros" is attempting to rip off Spurcycle. It would be fine if they came up with something cool on their own, but to just rip off someone else's design shouldn't be supported.

Rockbros has dissonance. Spurcycle is clear. My human ears like and pay attention to Spurcycle. I’m hoping the bear pay attention to Spurcycle too! I’ll let you know.

I've never seen (and from this test, still have virtually never heard...) such ineffective and overpriced bicycle bells. My $7 Accmor bell from Amazon kicks both of their asses. LOUDLY!

Ok...so I just received my Rockbros bell, matte black. Very tiny, maybe 1.25". Once installed, it rings out just fine, plenty of sustain! Every bit as loud AND pleasing as the spurcycle. This guy just tightened the Rockbros bell TOO tight. IMHO, one can adjust the sustain by simply tightening the mounting screw. Just like tuning a musical instrument, say a cymbal, or any kind of mounted bell.

Lmao, they're the same bell, made in the same factory by the same children but it gets sold anywhere from 10-50€/$ depending on branding. You cannot tell me otherwise unless you have physical proof.

Rockbros is Chinese Copy-cat brand. Never recommended. Finally you will buy good one in the near future.

The spurcycle has has a nice clear sound but it does resonate a little too long. It could be annoying. You just want a quick ring and the Rock has a higher ping pitch! I will go with Rock bros. Love that sustain on Spur though. Maybe both. lol

My Rockbros - in this video here somehow incorrectly attached - sounds just like the Spurcycle. Sorry, and I am ashamed of myself, but a difference of 40 Euros really matters...

Spurcycle is quality, but not that, IT IS THE ORIGINAL - as in Made AND DESIGNED in the USA. Please support well-made quality original products! I just ordered one (black) and already thinking of just going ahead and getting two more for the kids!

I'd like a bell that has a sharp ping but not the lasting ringing. What you want is to get someone's attention with the strike of the bell, not annoy your companions with a lasting tone.

The Spurcycle is much better. But I'm glad the Chinese make knockoffs . As a European I will never buy american anymore. With Trump president and braking the world I will never give a cent to an american company. Degoogling, demicrosofting, etc. This is a great design and the Chinese knockoff is good enough. Thanks Rockbross for bringing this great design to people who don't want to finance america.

I bought the RockBros bell. The Spurcycle bell, US made or not, is overpriced to my mind. I pinged the bell in front of three other people when I'd removed from its' wrapping and their reaction was surprise to the point of shock at both the high volume and length of sustain. After fitting (hint: slacken the centre screw to give easier access to locate the metal strip), the performance remains the same. In this video, I can only think something is dampening the sound of the RockBros bell because mine sounds like the Spurcycle product. Incidentally, around two years ago, I replaced the steel seat post on my Brompton with a titanium one from RockBros. It cost £53 including postage at a time when the Brompification version was over £200. The quality of the saddle clamp is excellent and I've had no issues with the post at all. I'm expecting the bell to be equally functional but I admit only time will tell.

How do they compare to the £3.95 version I bought on eBay?

So, is everyone whining about $50 riding a Walmart bike? Seriously, still on v-brakes? What kind of helmet and riding shoes are you sporting? Is your vehicle 30 yrs old with bald tires? Every product I've ever used or purchased worked directly to its price. Only a bell, or only a company that has made a inferior product because they chose to produce it cheaply.. Keep buying cheap coffee and tea too and I'll keep supporting fair trades /labor. We're just humans anyways

Knowing cyclists are from all over the world. I live in USA so I've made the decision. Support companies like Spur Cycle. They made the decision to keep production in house. Inferior materials and manufacturing processes make or break a product. Anyone whining about cost try eating at or not going to the pub a few times. Boom, you've saved for the better bell already. After all, it's people's greed and wanting everything for free that has caused soo many companies cutting corners to deliver. Sorry, cheap, fast, quality, and free doesn't exist. True, it's going on a bike, but who takes pride and loves their bike so little as to mate it with knock off bits? Spur ftw
