To do so we need to know, when do people rely on heuristics? In this video I try to answer this question using the Elaboration likelihood model. What are heuristics? Quick question. You mention the difference between injunctive norm and descriptive norm. Here you explain the example of being quiet at a library as injunctive but isn't also descriptive in the sense because everybody else is quiet you are quiet? or is it more about your knowledge before hand. That before stepping in you want be quiet in this place. If this is the case how would this work for people who come to a library the first time. The it becomes descriptive? People who have been there know they have to be silent because its the social norm but who haven't might not know that in advance. Maybe a library is commonly known for being quiet and I think most people know that but for example a study space. Some are different then others also still in some study rooms its okay to quietly whisper where as in others you have to be dead silence

I am watching these video's again for the upcoming exam. I know that in youtube you can add chapters to the video's. This gives the viewer the possibility to quickly scroll to a subject that you discussed in the video. Perhaps it is something you would like to look in to. :)

Isn't bad handwriting also a way of 'hard to get'? In order words, when a reader puts in a lot of effort in reading the handwriting, doesn't it become more valuable to him just like the first heuristics?

If you're curious, apparently you have to eat approximately 240 avocados for fatal effects, and the mortality rates for being a passenger on a plane is 0.005 for every 100.000 flight hours (my sources for this information are Google, however, so I doubt the accuracy of this information). Still, it doesn't tell me which one is more likely, but perhaps it could even be the avocados hehe

Ha, ha, don’t do that: Slayer forever!! Also some further study into the world of “chickens and music” (thanks for that Martijn :)) ) revealed a study on Japanese quails that suggests, playing classical music increases body weight and quality of eggs produced, but playing metal music can increase egg production. You got to love the explanation for the metal-music-effect: “it increases tolerance for fear and stress”. Best wishes Kees REF: Cabaral N., Untalan H., Rieta P.G.
