Don't come to Aroostook County we don't celebrate diversity you cannot walk down the highway in this County without being bothered by people it is one of the worst places to walk in the entire country you will get stuff throwing at you you'll get people rolling coal on you everybody that drives by in a sportscar thinks you're waving at them so they wave at you or they think you're looking at them

Been going to ME for decades. And personally, I like Aroo county. Talking to the younger people who liv there, many said the place was dead and boring. And if you are looking for a vibrant night life, this is not the place. However, like most of ME, the outdoors is where this area shines. Beautiful to say the least. If you are not the outdoorsy type you will learn to hate this place. People are warm and friendly. Home prices are lower than most places. And you better like the cold. Just my thoughts on Aroo County.

Most of the lakes and ponds in the county have blood suckers. They attach themselves to places on your body that you never realized you had. Plus Mainers are racists. They use the term (away), "Well, he is from 'away.' or "They are from away." Might just as well call me the "n" word. Just where the hell is "away?" Linnius?

Would love to visit that area .

When I get healed and get back to work I can't wait to make enough money to move. Can't wait to be part of something so beautiful. All the way from Fairfield Ca. Can't wait to make Aroostook County my home.

You'll never find a spot with no fishermen. Every body of water has been purchased and they're either lake communities or PACKED FULL of fishermen. ME's population is inflated 10x year round because of winter and summer tourism. There is nothing here that people haven't already destroyed with consumerism and politics.. so sad...
