This is so cool!

I just got this device and having problems using it. I connected it to my Digitakt but the Digitakt can only play the first piano instrument sound even when I change instruments on SC88 or if I change the midi channels on either. It'll always make that first piano sound. Any help?

Thats a beautiful track (could be much longer) and cool workflow (pretty similar to what i am doing right now). When you plug something into Stereo In 5/6 and nothing to Stereo 7/8, do you hear that signal also when you up the pot 7/8? Or is that a defect on my device?

It’s odd, I didn’t really understand what the filter knob was doing until I plugged external audio through it. Quite amazing sound, have to try this more.

I can see you are sending pulses from the MWRS to the blue inputs of the gong. I still have never really worked out what these do, and assumed these were kind of like clock dividers but think I'm wrong! out of interest, what do these do in this patch when using the gongs for external filter processing?

Totally random question and a bit irrelevant to the video, but I noticed you have a pico input in what looks like a 4ms 60 pod. Mine doesn't fit in the pod when connected to the ribbon connector due to the pod being too shallow. How the hell did you fit it in there lmao?? Did you use an alternative ribbon connector? I'm a noob to the modular world.

Are you using dbx on the tascam cause it only works on the stereo outputs out the back or if the tape is played on the tascam, not in another player without it. You might find it’s cleaner or just as clean if you just dub another tape on the other device,using the tascam outputs then just switching the original tape. 👍🏽

Amazing video! Thanks for this! I am using same portastudio + old RCA cassette recorder where I added extra mod for controlling the playback speed. Got a lot of new inspiration after watching it :) In 9 min, when you recording volca samples are you using channel 3 and 4 for stereo signal from volca. Is it a Y cable stereo mini jack -> 2x mono jacks?
