Don Valley Vikings B once again champions of champions for the second year running, winning the Ice Hockey Summer Classic Playoff Stanley Keg!
What a season it has been, with short benches, teams dropping out, losing points, goals, and players injured!
It felt against us this time, but we managed to soldier on and get ourselves into the playoffs! We didn't win the conference this year to a fast, strong Leeds Lightning, showing why every year they are a contender! But after beating them in our last game to seal our place, we knew then it was our time to shine!
The semi-finals came versus Newcastle Predators, again a solid team who never gave in! But we were able to bring the win home! 7 - 2 ...
