Happy New year to you all & Welcome to the coast of Southern Norway, in Farsund's harbour!
Today, we are transported to a magnificent Mughal paradise, where our soundscape is inspired by the serene waters and lush gardens surrounding a grand palace. The visual for this tranquil scene is the beautiful painting by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, titled Nurmahal, created in 1829.
The soundscape brings us to a Mughal empire paradise, where we can hear the gentle flow of water, the soft rustling of palm leaves in the breeze, distant echoes of palace music, and the tranquil sounds of birds in the lush gardens (such as peacocks!) and much more.
