Aigburth girl Angela in Miss Littlewoods Interview 1990 Liverpool
Scouse came from Norway ,it was known as lob scouse, whatever came from Ireland is Irish stew.
The Liverpudlian lady’s dad was from Sierra Leone.
They've got to rely on ancient footage cuz it looks more like Pakistan and Nigeria now.
What song did use 16:55 to 17:23
Absolutely brilliant!
Is that form 5V?
My city Dublin is twinned with the pool as it should be. At one time it was the Irish who came to Liverpool to work and live. Now it's the other way round there are scouser everywhere. One thing their great at, breading like rabbit's. Gizz a job, Yosser Hughes ☘️
Scouse is thought to be from, Scandinavia.
Carl Chase, doing cockney rhyming slang, idiot.
Love Liverpudlians they are natural comics
So scouse didnt come from Ireland,it came from Norway, regions.
Horrible woman!!
Liverpool is a great city - great people! Worked for a while there loved visiting too. Cannot fault the place at all!xx
This was made 4 years ago make another one now and see the change as in the rest of the country
Lambanana's were a stupid "creation!!..🙄
And now we've become "Armchair-Fascist Britain".
@HugoJames Not true
@@mynameisGail Really? A government whose only "policy" is hatred of immigrants, a hatred fanned by all media, and which is popular enough among the xenophobic electorate to inevitably win the next election for the Conservatives? And a country where total strangers regularly, openly and loudly express disgust at seeing myself, a white man, married to a black woman? (Although, to be fair, black people whom we encounter are just as racist as whites in this regard.)
might as well try it- we've tried everything else
@@randyborstol2491 Except that "trying" fascism is like "trying" death: there's no coming back from it. Oh - and even if you delude yourself that you'll obviously be one of the gauleiters, you won't be: you'll be in a concentration camp with the rest of us untermenschen.
@@randyborstol2491 You mean it's one more false accusation against we British in the current climate . Just add that "armchair fascist " nonsense false accustion that Hugo just came up with to the list of other false nonsense against the British that we British folk are having to suffer at present . Add it along with the current bs and constant persecutions and false accusations against the British . The list of bs against us just keeps on growing , yet none of the accusations are true .
THEIFING GITS !
No we are not, but at least we can spell... you neanderthal.
Mrs Richards: " I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) " That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
Multi culturism f****d that all up
Dad helped build the foundations for the beacon. Still standing today. Nice one dad💪
Not even one mention of Purple Aki .
And why would he even deserve acknowledgment .
@@dionnenavarro1786 😆😆😆😆❤️
Are John Paul George and Ringo here to translate 😂???
Very well spoken and intelligent .
She is lovely. I wonder how she is ?
Jimmy Tarbuck , letting Liverpool down again !
BRILLIANT!!!!!!
I love Miss Miriam.
Did she actually go to Liverpool to film this? It seems to be made up entirely of clips from earlier films in the BBC Archive. FYI: I'll be doing one on Punta Arenas soon.
Absolutely brilliant!!❤
As an evertonian l was really surprised we even got a mention!
Blame Clive Thomas.
VERY REFRESHING IN A TIME OF NOW. THANKS FOR SHARING.
Some great images ... and its changed! however one thing never changes our people's sence of unity and our welcoming outlook.
Out unique character and Culture is changing very fast with mass economic migrants being dumped on the city.
I’m Scottish but love Liverpool ❤️💚
Look at my Sir Name ... we have Scottish influences as well !
Full of Bin Dipping. Rat eating Vermin.
Biggesr robbers in europe a filty dumP .
Wow no mention of Billy Fury ? odd
The best city in the world, with an atmosphere like nowhere else. My dad was from Scotty Road, and when the foundations were being blasted for the Catholic Cathederal (Paddy's wigwam), my dad signwrote the signs for the company that blasted the foundations. He also signwrote most of the advertising boards down the dock road (including a portrait of my mum and sister on a bus Lol).
How abar Paddy's Wigwam?..that's what we call the Metro Cathedral. By the way my 'arl fella built the lift in St John's Tower :)
Yes ... we all called it Paddy's Wigwam
Are there any pics of the workers online from the build). Dad worked on the foundations.
Had to turn off at 18 seconds...Can't stand that foul mouthed woman MM.🤬😫
HI, I'm currently on a team of people making an animated film about Littlewoods and the Littlewoods building, I'm the sound designer I was wondering if you would mind me using a couple of snippets of the audio from this film?
Sure, no problem

My sister went to Aigburth Vale school 1950 ish, Maybe sooner.Jean Cross
Scouseland im Scottish btw
I'm Scottish but my Mum was a Scouser. She sadly passed away last year aged 84 . She was born in the Scottie road area .She married my Dad ( he was Scottish ) in the mid 1960' s and lived in Scotland ever since . She really missed Liverpool though . We ( My Mum, Dad ,brother and I ) often visited relatives in Liverpool though years ago whilst they ( the relatives ) were still alive .
Great memories I bet! Who was the compare? Mrs B and I recognise the voice but cant remember his name.
Howard, he worked for Littlewoods but not sure where
