Hi, thanks for your comment. I’ve posted a few shorts on my channel, as well as some reels on Instagram if you’d like to see some images. The quality isn’t optimal on those platforms, but in any case, I plan to release a complete review. I’m holding off a bit longer before doing so because I have some big projects coming up. As for my experience, I can only say one thing: I love it! The image, the design… It’s not perfect-far from it-but it suits my professional needs.

@@jaysnappsmediallc you have three versions of this camera: PL, L or EF. Mine is L mount and I use an EF to L adapter

This is a pretty unattractive rig, sorry for the brutal honesty, that NPF battery has gotta go....but it sure looks better than any pocket camera rig
They gotta go with a dummy battery that connects to the vmount

Pour le moment rien à dire, je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de le tester sur un tournage pro. Je dois encore le tester avec un lidar monté dessus 👌
you got external battery power for the camera and STILL have to power your monitor with a second top heavy battery. FAIL
Lovely setup! How's the DZO lens adapter on the camera side? Nice and snug, or does it have a little movement?
No play between the lens, the adapter, and the mount; it feels extremely solid in hand. I'll add a small support for the adapter later, just in case.
@ nice thanks! I have a viltrox pro and it’s pretty snug on the camera side, but it will still move a tad on hard stops.
Nice RIG man! I went with shoulder Rig but I also kept in mind to make it easy to break down. Maybe I need to make a dismantling video as well haha. Cheers!

It seems uncomfortable, but in reality, it's quite the opposite (at least for me). They also have rainbow handles with an interchangeable, more comfortable part, but it's more expensive than the one I have. Plus, Mid49 is based in the U.S., so I have to pay astronomical customs fees. 🥴
you got power on the monitor before you input that sdi? be careful
Yes, I connected it this way just for the video. Otherwise, I do follow the SDI protocol 😉
⚠ Be careful to follow the SDI protocol closely! ⚠ I've connected everything without taking that into account just to show the cable layout, but following the protocol is essential to protect your SDI ports.

@@YourFilmmaker Here’s the link to customize your cable : mutiny.store/products/mutiny-true-12g™-sdi-combat-paracord-cable-configurator It's quite expensive, but I prefer having a cable that will last and won’t risk breaking or damaging my SDI port. I chose a micro SDI to SDI cable, both with right-angle connectors.

Hi, I'm using the NEEWER PS007 mini V-mount plate on 15mm rods underneath the camera. It’s a temporary solution, as I was already using this plate on my BMPCC 4K rig. Later on, I’m thinking of investing in a V-mount plate with more D-tap outputs or a plate with an integrated dummy battery, so it can take over if I need to swap out my V-mount.

do you have camera controls on the video assist via sdi?
Unfortunately, no. Only monitors that can control the camera via Bluetooth, it seems, and the new USB-C monitor announced by Blackmagic, for the Pyxis and the new Ursa Cine cameras. 🤔

Could you provide information on the handles and plates being used?
@@JimmyLab I no longer have the cheese plate brand; I’ve had it for a long time. I added a NATO rail to slide on the SmallRig top handle. These are accessories I already had for the BMPCC4K. Now, I just switched to the cage and handle from Mid49. You can check out my rig update in my latest short 😁

Super vidéo ! Très beau rendu et beaucoup de talent 🎉 Peux-tu nous en dire plus sur ton choix concernant les Contax 28mm F/2.8 Carl Zeiss Distagon ? Pourquoi cette monture ?
Merci ! Je cherchais des optiques vintages qui correspondaient à mes critères à savoir un rendu organique et doux mais aussi précis et net au centre, pour l'utiliser sur n'importe quel projet sans faire de compromis. Également la monture est en EF car j'utilise un speed booster pour avoir un rendu quasi identique au super 35 au lieu du M4/3 de la BMPCC 4K et pour gagner un stop de lumière.
@@guylain.caudron Le résultat est au rendez-vous, ça donne un style magnifique ( je salue aussi ton super boulot d’éclairage). Encore bravo pour ton travail exceptionnel et je vais me pencher sur cette optique pour ma FX3. En attendant tes prochaines vidéos aussi inspirantes 👌💪
