I sold mine to get an even heavier 600mm f/4.0 for birding.....Still have my 600mm here and I don't want to get rid of this jewel of a lens...

The Z f should have an anti-alias filter like the Z 6II that minimizes moire.

If the ZF can do wildlife, I switch! 😁

Everyone has different preference and shooting style, I really like the Zf until I put mown hands on it, I have not played with a camera with such horrible ergonomics for long long time. so I know my my $2K will be spent on elsewhere. Z8 is really nice but I will never replace my Z9 with the Z8 though.

can i steal the zf?

It depends on how you shoot....your only losing 10FPS going from Z9 to Z8. If buffer isn't an issue for you, and 20FPS serves your shooting style then it could easily replace the Z9. If Nikon could expand the raw format for the Z8, they might match the Z9 performance. The ZF performs better than the Z8 for similar reasons. The Zf body looks pretty cool too. Please share what was wrong with the Z9, when you find out. Thanks for the video.

Great comparison video for what I attempt. I am complete amatuer , got caught up in all the hype and tech. So from the little i've watched good grounding content. Watched your video on White eye and Sakura , on phone only so will watch again , looked good on small screen. Best of luck with weather.

Have you tried the TC-2.0 on the 800mm? I was considering an equatorial mount, the TC-2.0, and DX crop for 2400mm frame.
