The system is fully expandable… It’s easy to put a third amp inside the faring to power a set of speakers in lower fairings or rear speaker pods. The system is safe for the bikes, electrical system, unlike so many of the car, audio based systems out ...

What year road king seat
So no need to spend yer money on an upgraded oil pump then.
What year road glide seat?!?
The "Harley Death wobble" is caused by a rear end issue of sorts. The steering damper is more for tank slappers , two different types of trail issues
What years road king seats fit thanks
I have to run 90 mph to stay in formation never had an issue with death wobble as long as tire pressure is good on Ultra Classic
You have been lucky. When you run triple digits these rubberglides have issues.
If the front end wobbles is because it's poorly engineered. You need more trail A set of raked triple trees is the answer.
Honda guys watching Harley videos 🤷♂️
I got a 03 custom Fatboy hand built from the ground up no wobble EVER at any speed
Is the death wobble more inherent on Harleys than other brands? I am on my fourth Honda and never had a wobble. It sounds like a common problem with Harleys. If so, shouldn't Harley engineers design out this defect at the factory?
Just grab the throttle a bit more and you'll climb out of it.. usually around 125-130mph, accelerate out of it
Woah so random. Im pretty sure i bought a clutch from you guys off ebay today. Then stumble upon this video
LOL
Did you need any additional hardware to install?
I wanna buy a Honda, said no true Harley rider ! As there are issues, i still will always ride a Harley, i have a 92’ FXR, it might not be worth $$, but i cant part with that bike, my wife bought me an 07’ FLHTC, talk about lots of odd issues, but it’s apart of the family now and i will build her up and make her reliable!
The answer is to get a dyna they don’t wobble.stearing dampers don’t fix the problem they just stiffen your front end.check your engine mounts & swing arm bushes then wheel bearings as well as spokes & how true the wheel is .those stupid fairings don’t help either .
Dude all the noise that motor was making it’s running way to hot definitely need to look in your manual and make sure your running the correct oil for the temperature outside or as Harley says ambient temperature
With the tour pack on the Ultras, trying to put back either the screw or thumb bolts is a pain in the butt. Virtually no space for your hand to get in while holding the screw to tighten. Needs a new design layout for that seat lock.
I found u 🎉
My God when will all these marketing gimmicks stop. Buy a bike and ride the hell out of it. Next week they'll be another breather cam piston bearing primary chain adjuster that you can't live without.
Hey!! It’s only $150!!
Another Hardly Dangerous short coming for the aftermarket to figure out. 😂
Agree. I currently work with an ex Harley engineer who has told me countless times that internally, all this is heavily tested and vetted and to quote him, "I trust haley's engineers over random people on the internet who have designed and tested this stuff to meet warranty and keep from becoming a recall issue." I'm an ex automotive engineer and I do know, at least from Detroit auto company experience, we spend so much more money testing and refining designs than we do initial designing. On top of this, my buddy tells me that there is a division of Harley pushing and experimenting with new concepts in their racing division and some of that feedback makes it back into new product designs. I saw similar when I worked at Ford.... anyway, yea, not to say there arena mistakes that get through but I agree with ya. For the most part, I stay away from mods like this.
Lol. I was thinking the same thing as I watched this and glad to see yours is the top comment. I won’t go so far as to say the aftermarket is useless because I have a few doo dads myself…mostly decorative. But this plug looks completely unnecessary. Harley is not as incompetent as the internet makes them out to be.
have you thought to grease the neck Barings?? when i worked at the Harley shop, the tech don't grease the neck Barings, that where you get a wobble?? on the dyna they need be repacked and adjust to specs. older softails have a grease sert and baggers have them.
Marketing gimmick.
A friend of mine lost the drain plug and jammed some wooden dowel in and seems to work ok.
That hole you showed is not an oil feed. It is part of the oil return system which scavanges oil from the bottom of the crankcase back to the oil tank via the return side of the oil pump. If you're getting oil coming out when you remove the plug, then it is most definitely a drain plug for the crankcase.
Waste of money
Couldn't I just cut down the stock plug if I wanted this mod?
yes
I always drain that plug on my twin cam when changing the oil. Who wants a half liter of dirty crap mixed with fresh oil
I use a tool called an “oil scavenger” from Rogue Chopper. It pumps out the old oil left in the bottom of the sump during an oil change. My oil always looks clean when I am done changing it.
My mech (MMI) taught me this years ago on my EVO... When changing my fluids every 3500 miles (DINO) + pull the plugs to either replace or check GAP, prior to putting everything back together I turn on the bike (14 FLHTK & 15 FLHR) + hit the starter for 10secs a few times to pump out any of the remaining oil in the system. In 30+ yrs it hasn't failed me yet & usually get a few more ounces out. **Side Note - know an old timmer that uses a wet-vac to remove the remaining oil - I'm not that OCD to go thru the hassle!
or you could just remove the sensor
Half a quart. There, fixed your sentence for you
Amazing how much misinformation is out there. A frame to engine stabilizer such as Tru Track or Alloy art will fix it. Its an inherent problem on the baggers.
The case it comes out of is as long as the stock plug. Stock plug runs flush to the bottom inside the case. Not restricting oil. 🤔 Id like to see the oil pan off the bike with the stock plug in to prove me wrong.
🫵 yea.
the plug is in the case not the pan
What’s size are those bars on your bike
Great return policy! Why would anyone want to if they work this well...
frame mounted fairings rarely wobble but older 70s_80s imports were brutal but my 2002 flht has never exhibited this 98k and still rolling its placement of fork tubes to rear of triple tree
I’ve had full touring since 2014 and never had any wobble whatsoever.
Would you go back to the neighbor haters?
Arlen Ness sounds like a broken horn
Nice Bike!
I dont one on your web site
all you had to do is adjust the steering bearing tightness.... for free.
There is more to it than that but you have a good point. The number 1 reason for wobble is low front tire pressure on any scoot.
Promo_SM 🤣
Where can I find this? Called the shop, and they didn't know what I was talking about?
Sorry for your loss. I bet you have some great memories.
I have found that making sure your preload is properly set on the rear suspension is a huge factor in preventing rear end wobble. I have pulled over in the past to stiffen the rear end. It will usually happen when adding weight like a passenger or a passenger and luggage if your don't stiffen that rear end up. I just made adjustments on my last trip this past week while on the trip. I took my 04 Dyna Wide to Mi from Scranton PA. I had some wobble on the freeway so I hit the first rest area and adjusted it one click that straigtened it out then added a passenger before leaving with the passenger I added two more clicks no problems took it back one before I headed back. No problems, there were lots of cross winds and trucks and tightening the preload kept the bike stable. Just saying, pay attention to preload it makes a world of difference with rear end. Note: if I feel the wobble when starting a ride at all I will stiffen the rear end a click at first opportunity.
What brand/style is that Road king seat? I love it
Nice commercial...
Glad you like it!
what year road king seat, I have a 1995 ultra classic and I'm having a hard time find a replacement seat
I have a '92 Electra Glide and put a '95 Road King seat on it. It didn't fit without pulling the fabric on the front to spread the pan, then reassemble. The seat pan hit the gas tank and wouldn't sit in place.
QUESTION; Have you looked into the “True Track” to stabilize your ride?
Alloy Art do one that is a fraction of the price of them. Can't believe I wasted so much time trying to dial in suspension settings when the Alloy Art one fixed it instantly. I definitely wouldn't put that putrid looking steering damper on my bike lol
I tried to update with part numbers 1984-2022 great video thanks foo ruclips.net/video/bpaY4VWNtRg/видео.html
Problem is…I think it’s the back end that wobbles. I would debate whether or not it starts in the front and is exaggerated when it reaches the back. But I never feel it in the front. I feel it at the back wheel.
Wow, if you want a perfectly smooth motorcycle buy a bmw, Yamaha, Honda, etc. I love my Dyna rumble and do not want to dampen it with crap.
Proper steering head adjustment will take care of wobble and weave unless your running mis matched tires or old and cupped tires. Oh or tires like shinkos! Just had throw it out there. Ride safe!
