Replacing the spark plugs on the 2007 Pt Cruiser Turbo - This is not an instructional video, it is just me replacing the plugs and interjecting some information. It is not a step by step video but if you already have some skills in repairing things, you may find it useful. - I did run into an issue that will be taken care of in a future video. - Thanks for watching !

2009 honda fit rear door water leak
My fit has one (1) JIS screw in each rotor. And... it's horribly rusted in, in both cases. I may drill them out, and I'm highly unlikely to put them back. None of my other vehicles has any screw to hold the rotor on the hub, and the center hole does pilot on the hub pilot, so the (single) screw isn't used for piloting.
Worst video I ever seen
Those screws are difficult. I placed two box wrenches over the studs nearest the screw and tightened a lug nut over each to relieve outward pressure of the rotor. Then used an impact driver.
what a nightmare...
Hood your tongue just right 😂
I had to drill the head off of one to get it off. I did put the rest back in. But the one I drilled out I didn’t put it back. I guess I could’ve just left all of them off. I anti seize them. I heard that there are no Phillips screws on honda they are all JIS.
Video 3 years old, so sure you have replaced the car or headlights or whatever. But I - just yesterday - took my 2010 Honda Fit to Walmart. They have a $25 per car Headlight Restoration. My lights looked like yours. The guy worked REALLY hard on them. And did get them clear! See how long it lasts. But listening to how long he sanded/buffed/etc, I can see why it didn’t work doing it at home. WELL worth the money.
Wellll...I did try and do some sanding/buffing/etc on my own with proper headlight compound however the fog on mine is somehow actually INSIDE the darn thing. I found that odd as I have had many cars with foggy lights and it was always the exterior clear coating. Thank you for the input.
Do you have a part number for the hose from the purge valve solenoid to the intake? Appreciate it
Those were made from various parts in the doorman help isle. They make GM type connectors with straight pipe on it and you either put in boiling water and form or you can get just the connector and use doorman flex hose like I did. I had to go back and forth between two auto parts stores to gather all the needed bits and parts to fabricate what was needed. Sorry, it's an old video, in retrospect I should have listed or pictured all the parts I used.
i enjoyed your video and added it to my playlist, Thanks Murphy Mower
Why thank you !
how did this work, mine has the exact same symptoms, trigger fault then cuts power over 2500?
Worked like a treat. The issue has not returned. I cut open the connectors on the 'defective' ones and although I did not see any breaks in the connectors metal parts I feel they were loose.
@@vincentdragon9996 just got back from auto parts store got the sensor, but i have a feeling its going to be the pigtail even though it looked fine

@@vincentdragon9996 lol you're so right about that,I've been there quite a few times
Thanks bud you are the only one that knew how to open that connector which slides up into the side on my 2002 Chevy trailblazer it’s not on the top it’s actually on the purge valve itself but the connectors are the same you’re the man. 👍🏻
Man I got happy for a minute because you said something about how people make RUclips videos and then they say okay I'm going to do this pause it and then change it and then you have no idea what they did well I seen your video and you have the exact same car here everything has me and I thought finally I was going to see someone change it but you did the same thing you came back and you already have stuff off and I didn't see how you did it so it didn't help me at all
Sorry to disappoint. I do wish I had the time to do proper videos but as I stated in the video; Mine are not instructional per-say. I would be more than happy to take donations towards a proper camera of some kind that would record 8 hours of video without stopping. Using a cell phone is not good when working on things as I have to stop and remove gloves / wash hands to use it. If you have any ideas on that I'd love to hear them. Thank you for the input , I'll try and do better in the future. ruclips.net/video/wDaqKP8-nE0/видео.html this video seems to be more instructional than mine.
Looking for the solenoid location? For me 2003 trailblazer it was lower right side of the motor if your looking from the front of the viechle.
Just climed over the driver side fender and retch down. Took ten mins.
Nice. Dealing with this now.
might have been better if you showed where they are located
To do that headlight use T cut or similar paint cutting compound. 20 minutes on each light will do the trick. Pete on the Isle of Wight.
where did you find the line that connects to the solenoid, its mission impossible for me
Yes, those types of parts are not really something you can buy. I made these from Dorman brand items. They sell the connector ends at the auto store, some of the connectors will have lengths of hose already connected and some will just be the connector and you attach hose to it. You submerge the plastic in boiling water to soften and form them to the shape you need. They work pretty good.
Any idea on what the torque specs for the transmission mount are? I had to replace mine completely (rust welded on)
Afraid not. I just got them good and tight. After years of turning nuts and bolts you kinda get a feel for it. I would say somewhere around 50 lbs to 60 would be good.
Clamping small fuel and hose connections perfectly on-the-cheap. ClampTite makes a very nice wire clamping tool. It sure is pretty! But, I'll take cheap over pretty any day. One can make their own clone of the tool using a turnbuckle. RUclips up on how to use the wire clamping tool. There's the two-wrap clamp and the single-wrap clamp way of setting up a wire clamp. I use the two-wrap version for air hose fittings, radiator hoses, and such. The single-wrap clamp comes in useful for the small fuel line stuff like for rebuilding the sending unit inside the gas tank with a new fuel pump. Below is the video of the homemade version of the tool. I improved mine by using a section of all-thread to make the pulling mechanism longer. I just welded a large nut to the end for the twisting handle. This allows for much tighter wire clamp. If you've worked with safety wire before, doing wire clamps should be child's play. If not, it will take some practice to get the resulting wire clamps to function well and look good. Keep at it, I rarely use worm-screw clamps anymore. One piece of advice, dress, dress, dress, the wire with needle nose pliers as the wire is tightened. ruclips.net/video/5w1_9IkeRmQ/видео.html
Just put a graphics card in there and use it as your main desktop. I am using a Dell R410 running Ubuntu Mate. I pulled the RAID card because they say its hard to recover data if a RAID card fails so just using a regular SATA SSD. Had a hard time installing correct Nvidia driver because the card was added after operating system was installed. There were 5 different recommenced drivers and only one worked but it refused to install. Had to do some hacking but now it works great!!!
I changed the purge solenoid and now my engine is shaky & loss power. Now it shows code p0300 , before it didn’t.
Hey. I just dragged one of these outta the closet to see if it still worked. Yes, the wind machine works. They had the HDD destroyed, of course, so I boot off any old Linux through USB or DVD. Unfortunately I don't have any ethernet drivers that work. Might I be missing something obvious? On the back I'm seeing a wrench decal beside some cover where it looks like another ethernet port might be.
Mine simply found the hardware binaries on its own - Perhaps the USB iso is lacking in drivers. I have seen that sort of thing before where the live boot does not see all hardware correctly but the actual install does. The other port with the wrench is a diagnostic port and I have no clue what would interface with it. What distro have you tried to use?
@@vincentdragon9996 I like the portable distros these days, like TinyCore and Puppies. Actually, I'm kinda dedicated to Puppy and never had any uninvited problems with it, except with some HP copy/scanners. This giant server, however, is something different. I just found a 142 page manual. This ought to be fun. (Sarcasm). I'm not sure if it's worth the study -- it's too big of a beast. It belongs in a shack out back or something.
@@schitlipz LOL - Well mine does what it does quite well so it's currently safe from shacks. Good luck and I hope you have fun with it.

Had a hard time installing correct Nvidia driver because the card was added after operating system was installed. I will have card installed first next time. There were 5 recommenced drivers and only one worked but it refused to install. Had to do some hacking but now it works great!!! Gotta disable onboard matrox graphics chip in BIOS to activate graphics card as well. I highly recommend a simple program called: Multibootusb to write the iso to a usb. Can be installed to harddrive easily. Boot setting must be set to UEFI in bios.
Thanks for posting the connector removal. Major help.
Glad it helped

I have a 999 just like this. Got a hydro stall problem when I try to go forward. Goes reverse just fine. But it whines and stalls when you push the lever forward. Going to try an adjustment first and then a drain and filter replacement.
Just unbolt it it’s a 10 mm bolted to the engine not that hard.
It's good to see that tractor running. I believe 99 was the last year of production. I was one of those who built them back then. I wish we still made them.
Yes, it's built like a brick poop house. Its a sad thing that we don't make stuff like this anymore. Looking forward to getting the motor all rebuilt or fixed up to restore its power
Very impressive setup, a bit of Overkill but that's what we do huh! Glad to see you made use for the Dell monitor.
I replaced this part and still have the same code p0440. What else could it be?
Hmmm...how are the lines and hoses? Have you checked out the eletricals? I am afraid I no longer have this vehicle as it proved to be a money pit POS...everytime I would fix some issue then something else would break.
Put the right size vacuum hose on and don’t worry about them fittings.
Dealer only part that cost a fortune and they don't carry anyway. Ther repair kit hoses were the only option and they were the right size. This is how this type of hose works and I consulted a master level trained and certified auto mechanic during the process.
@@vincentdragon9996 Telling me you talked to a master level trained and certified auto mechanic. Is something uninformed people say trying to get me to believe them. Some people will lie and say they been working on cars for 30-11 years. The hoses are under low pressure vacuum and will work just fine without stock fittings.
@@blackericdenice It is because I am uninformed that I sought advice from my mechanic friend before and during this project rather that the random crap on the internet (yes, like mine); as I trust his advice. I chose to go with the correct replacement fittings per advise, rather than jury rigging with generic vacuum hose. Especially since the rigid hose allowed for it to be heat (boiling water) softened and formed to the correct shape and channels thereby not letting it rattle, vibrate, melt etc. against the various objects in the engine bay. My source, if I recall, has taken and passed the level 3 test..though I could be mistaken on the levels, has owned his own repair shop and has several race cars. As such, I took his advice. were I wanted to MacGyver the thing together, I could have just got out the duct tape.

@Betrayed 1914 I watch videos of a guy rebuilding his Camaro 4L60e transmission in his driveway. I study for 2 or 3 years using a junk yard unit. I watched every youtube video on rebuilding transmission. I read stories and problems on forums about the 4L60e. I was told by transmission shops that my transmission was not going to work on the first try. Not only did it work. It went more than 3 years and more than 27,000 miles. There was 2 problems. I had a small pump leak because I didn't line it up right. There was a 2-3 shift flair for one year until I learn the parts-guy sold me a 4 cylinder separator plate. The unit went another 2 years before I had to go back in and replace 3-4 clutches. My point is this. My neighbor paid a Chevy dealer $3,000 to rebuild his 07 Avalanche and the unit last only 6 months. BTW, I have 18 videos of me rebuilding my unit.
Went through the driver fender well. There's a 10 mil bolt holding the bracket that holds the solenoid take the 10 mil out spin the solenoid take the hose connector of towards the rear tire first then bend the solenoid towards you. With a small flat head you should be able to pop the tap for the hose connector towards the front of the car
Your comment helped me immensely, thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. Could not figure out how to get the connections off.
That is one impressive set up Sir, I'm glad to see you have it up and running!

I was able to access from the top of motor by I am tall and have long arms. Thanks for your video its all the information I needed to complete this job.
Hey buddy you happened to mention in this video about getting a code for the #6 ignition coil. I have the same problem with both of these codes coming up. Did you figure out if that coil was related to the purge code. Just asking because I’m getting ready to replace that coil so just making sure that is the actual problem or the connector. Thanks
Vincent do you happen to remember the part number or where did you buy it, I'm having the same problem with mine. Also thank you very much this video was very helpful
gotta take the driver's tire off to get to the purge valve and even then it's still not easy to take off due to the connector. my question is how do you know if it's the purge valve or vent valve that's defective?
What were the symptoms for the purge valve?
When you put gas in the tank it would not start unless you cranked it for about a min. What was going on is that when you put gas in the tank, with the valve stuck open it would flood the intake with gas vapor.
My trailblazer starts then shuts off like 3 seconds later. But only in cold weather. Any ideas where to start looking?
@@MrZepher722 did you clean the throttle body valve?
Well Vincent it is good to see that Mystic Creations is in full scale video production, finally. Best of luck my friend, oh and by the way why don't you try a tackling some jobs that are less than impossible?
