Let the person your selling the cards to get them graded just charge a little more for the card if you think it's going to be a 8 or 9 or10. That's what I do set one price for the card as is don't get beat on it some one will buy.

Guarantee they gave you a 9 on the Daniels cause of the centering unfortunately. The front and back aren't completely centered. That being said, I've seen a number of PSA graded cards that have had the same centering and got a 10. The problem with PSA as well as any grading company is because people are grading the cards. So every person is objective. While every person is trained with the same standards, it still comes down to that grader's final decision. Same situation can happen at other grading companies and why people will resubmit sometimes. My suggestion, see if there is an onsite PSA grading event near you. Take the card and see if it's possible to ask someone from PSA in person why it's a 9 (based on their opinion). The big issue with PSA is the lack of sub-grades on the label like BCG does. That's been a HUGE complaint for a long time.

Graded cards are a scam in general, both the second hand market and the issues regarding the grading within the company itself. I see manipulation all over the place. (also so is btc)

As upset as you were, I was waiting for the PSA 7. LoL! I agree with the chat; it's heavy left. Compare the K and the C to the edges and reference the half diamonds. They're much smaller on the right. The back of the card just verifies suspicions.

I agree with you 1000%. I no longer use PSA, I only use CGC when I send cards to grade, their slabs are way better, look better, feel better! It’s a high class outfit. Doesn’t mean I won’t buy a different slab, I just don’t don’t use PSA anymore! The back is off but they allow more on the back than the front! It should have been a 10! Do what I did, crack it open re send it, and I can almost bet it will come back a 10! Different grader, different opinion! Grader must have had a bad day

The Wemby was clearly a wrong grade we all know that. However you can't expect your submission to be graded the same as that Wemby card. To me that Jayden card is a 9 based on the how the Kaleidoscopic is centered on the card too far to the right. Also, I see some white on the back at the bottom left hand corner, not sure how good that corner is...

stop complaining and crack it out and send it somewhere else to be graded. one more thing never invest all your money in one thing - dont put all your eggs in one basket. be a little more diverse.

Math isn't your strong suit. You're just another whiner that had "perfect" card until it wasn't. You all send junk and when it comes back junk you cry. Stop sending them in. That way people who actually understand grading doesn't have to wait so long. We sub between 500-1000 cards a month and had very few problems. The problems we had we're mostly our fault. I've walked cards through. You're 100% wrong about the process. They want to give big cards 10s because they upcharge. I'd just take this down if I were you. lol

Your Jayden Kaleidoscopic is OC on the front and back. The space before the K and after the C is noticeably off, as is the back. I pulled an Odunze Kaleidoscopic last week out of one lone blaster and it is more centered than your Jayden. I don't think PSA is a complete scam but I think the issue is that every grader is going to be slightly different. I've heard that multiple graders will look at the same card to come up with a consensus, but we have no proof as there is zero transparency. In my opinion, grading should be done using computers and modern technology, not a few random dudes looking it over for a few minutes. The least they could do is give a valid reason for the grade on every single card!

A grading company that scans the cards and software that grades the pixels. This would stop the bull crap regraded that kills the numbers. Look at pop reports I seen cards numbered to 3 and be graded 8 times. A scan graded by pixels will stop the bs grades. And the numbers will be right. People regarding 9 thinking they gonna a 10, throws of the total amount of cards, plus software don't have bad days.

What you aren't accounting for is Corporate Greed. I KNOW you've been into a bank with 8 wickets ̶M̶a̶n̶n̶e̶d̶ oops, " Staffed" with only 2 tellers because they can't stand a 20 dollar/hour employee cutting into their billion dollar profit. Or paid inflated prices for your gas while OPEC limits production to keep it that way. I don't like it one bit but this is where a society greedy for power through profit is pushing everything. Crack and resub until you get the grade you want.

I've learned that Beckett has the most consistent and accurate grading. I like CGC grading too.

People work 5 days a week. 20 work days a month on average. 8 hours a day. 40 hour work week.

ANd they are incentivised to give 10 to really expensive cards to get the huge upcharge. Customer is happy even tho they know they didnt send in a 10. its all based on the scam graded coin market. guys that started grading cards got caught scaming graded coins back in late 80s.

Let me get this straight. He goes off on PSA as a "scam" and a "rip-off." Proceeds to prove it by "doing the math" and proceeds to get "the math" wrong. Then he goes into recommending I invest in "bitcoin." Maybe he's right about bitcoin. This isn't proof, nor even evidence, that bitcoin is a scam. It could be totally legit and I might be missing out on a "HUGE OPPORTUNITY." But I don't feel "better" about buying bitcoin because this guy recommends it. It makes me want to look a little further under-the-hood.

My math has it at around 16 minutes per card. 1,700 graders % 1 million cards is a little over 588 cards per grader per month. 3,600 sec. in an hour - 3,600 × 8 hrs = 28,800 sec.a day 28,800 × 5 days = 144,000 sec.a week. 144,000 × 4 weeks = 576,000 sec. a month. 576,000 % 588 cards = 979 sec. 979 % 60 = 16 min. I'm pretty sure that math is right but I still think PSA is a scam !! There's always gonna be human error / opinion. I think a more accurate way of grading is with the companies who do it digitally by a machine. That way every card is graded the exact same way & by the exact same standards. No human eye, error, attitude, tiredness, etc involved. !!
