02 pathfinder evap tips
02 pathfinder evap codes p1444,p1446, p0452
Watch cars toys.net fuel pressure sensor video. If testing the purge valve, do not remove from canister, only if determine it’s broken. You will break bolts most likely, use penetrating fluid starting a couple days ahead and multiple applications. You’ll do fine.

Process for removal. Repetitive at times, just fast forward. FYI all short bolts are for radiator fans, long are for underneath brush guard. Hope this helps

2004 odyssey hood stuck shut. Btw, to remove plastic skid plate clips, screwdriver to lift round portion up, the work clip out. Good luck
Can you show me where the vacuum cut bypass valve is on the pathfinder. I know it's somewhere in this area
I have a 1998, 3.3L 4x4 auto. 170,000 miles. My wife filled gas tank one day last week while it idling and it started acting like it was missing after that. She drove it 200 miles through the mountains and got it home. No codes. I opened the gas cap, that looks good, and the tank depressurized for no kidding, 5 to 6 minutes. At first it was heavy and wet fumes coming out, then eventually faded away. No visible leaks anywhere, or damage. I loosened the gas cap and drove it for 18 miles. No change. Acts like it's mildly missing. Plug and wires only 1 year old. No codes. Also, the RPM gauge shakes about 200 RPMs when it feels like it's missing. Any ideas? Do ya think my ignition coil just happened to go bad at the same time? Would that not toss a code? Thanks!
It took me 2 days. And the help of my nephew. It was the biggest pain in the arse I’ve done. I am not a trained mechanic. Watch the other videos, give yourself plenty of time and good luck. Or bring it to a mechanic. Give me old 4runner starters all day long. Besides that, these older pathfinders pretty good trucks
you are an imposter, you haven't done the work, this is a very difficult job. Actions speak louder than words.
Thank you sir. Very helpful
thanks for your video -- just watching to see what harness comes out with it for the coolant temp sensor/fan relays
Great video. Been meaning to change mines. Got a 1993 acura legend.
Great video!!Question. What is the part number for the pressure sensor?
Great video..where are you located
Thank you you amazing sir!
Sorry your video did not help to much blind spots
Terrable filming did not help
Can't see
Just wanted to let you know that your video saved me much headache and money. I have a 2004 honda oddssey and cable on latch came loose. Shut hood and the frustration began. After finding your video I created similar tool. And bingo it worked after only 15 minutes under van. Thanks again for this awesome video.
Purge valve is up front to release vapors into engine. What you replaced was the vent valve (solenoid) from the canister.

@@thesetruths1404 Honestly I don't know. Although the gas tank seems to be very pressurized beyond normal. The other thing is no codes. You may need a better code reader or your computer is not working right or able to pick up these problems. If it was a coil you would think you would get a code but you are not getting a code for the e-vap system either. It sounds to me like it could be the vent solenoid. But considering the age of the car I would say it could also be the charcoaled canister. I would replace both. A bad e-vap system can do weird things.
You didn't show how you did
You used a vaccum pump...
I’m having a problem where it will start just fine but the next day it won’t. It’ll fire up but immediately be killed then forever crank. The next day it’ll crank right up. I replaced all positioning sensors but crankshaft bank 2. I have an evap P0455 and p2188 code (running rich at idle). My guess is evap because I have no misfires and my spark plugs are new.
worked on my 2016 odyssey , thanks for sharing!!
At least 8 of theses 2002 pathfinders at my local junkyard 5 min from my house it's what I drive and it's where I get all my parts. That canister would be ten bucks hoses for free
Where's that junkyard located I'm in nyc

Please use jack stands. Never ever use the factory jack useless changing a tire. This the first i have ever done a post to message. Very helpful your video. Please heed my sincerity
I have to second this! Very great video but safety first so we can enjoy more of your videos! Cheers 💯💯
Absolutely genius . I’m so glad I found this. I have an 04 odyssey, and exact thing happened. You’re my hero today haha
This video sucks. Could not see nothing that was done to fix this latch.
Thanks for posting it definitely help me.
Crappiest starter replacement video ever. All you did was talk
And you watched it...
Thank you for posting this video on YT
I have a 2001 pathfinder 4 wheel drive. I was able to get the starter out but it wasn't easy. Took me about 2.5 hours to replace it with my very basic tools. Was a very messy job.
Stupid video
A thousand thanks for this video. It got me on the right track. I also recommend this video to get a better look at the mechanism. ruclips.net/video/YwhA5BcK1BE/видео.html
I’m having problems with my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder, I have a brand new battery..once I plug the battery cables in, all the lights cut on, but as soon as I turn the key to crank it, everything shut off..could it be the alternator or the starter? Or both?
9Master_Mind3 that sounds like an alternator problem
MissingSevens it was the battery terminal
Honda Odyssey 2001 belts
Thank you so very much...
Thank you for your help I’m just did it
Thank you so much
I used a fishing rod where it comes apart in the middle and at the end I put a piece medal that we use to nail a tent string to the ground because it has a 90 degree angle bend and just keep moving it around until open and it work.
Your time of making this video is greatly appreciate. You saved me a ton of money. Yes video is not professionally done but that's when people watching the video need to have a bit of patience and watch the video multiple times of needed. The man is under a car explaining what to find, with a rod, and with a camera. It worked for me thanks a ton
Can you do another video and show again how this is done but not shake the camera around so much, and explain in more detail what you are doing? I can’t even identify the area that you are sticking the bent rod up into.
U dont need all this drama. There is a hole u can see from anderneath . U put screw driver all the way in and move it left and right it should pop.
Flathead or Phillips?
How long should be the screw driver? To reach the hole?
terrible video! light and camera moving all around can not see ANYTHING!! you should have shown what the latch looks like with the hood open so you can see what needs to be done!
Exactly! My hood is partly opened but the latch won't move far enough for me to open the hood smh...
Thank you so much for posting this! I took my battery out to charge it and then couldn’t open my hood to put it back in, so I couldn’t even drive it to the shop to get fixed. It was really hard following what you were saying, but I got the gist of it and was able to pop it. I’ve been without my car for weeks and I started to brute force the whole front end apart before I ran into your video. You are a life saver.
Got to save cash where you can. Glad it helped
Thanks.
