@DebbiePlummer-xn3kr Thanks, we're going back in January 2025. I found the runs on the Swiss side quieter so looking forward to exploring some more.

We had a great time. Avoriaz got quite busy in places and we found the Swiss side round Les Crosets and Morgins was much quieter but you will need a full Portes du Soleil area lift pass to do that but it's worth it.

Avoriaz is a superb ski area, you’ll have lots of fun. Watch the snow situation down in Morzine, if it’s poor expect Avoriaz to be busy as everyone will head up the mountain, if it’s good you can do a fantastic loop around the whole PDS area. Once up in the mountain there is plenty of skiing to do. Enjoy.

I live there, for such a big resort "there aren't many people". If you go to the coast of Chavanette or Conche there are much fewer people than Avoriaz center. Looking at the quality of the snow on the Avoriaz site, it always corresponds to reality. During a powder day in May I was even able to ski alone on the slopes for almost an hour

We did well, a couple of days of rain but then it got very cold and we had loads of fresh snow. Get up and out early if you can, we had some great runs first thing. Enjoy it, a great place.

Hi, we were there last week, came back just before the storms in the UK. We had a couple of very wet days the rest were fine. I used snow forecast to check the weather, it seemed accurate.

We went the third week of March. The mornings were OK but the snow was very soft in the afternoon. Sport Gastein was fine as it's much higher but it's a bus ride of about 20 mins.
