Very nice video that helped to get into the game. Where are these litttle containers coming from?
Thanks! All of the minis and terrain are by Lazy Forger and printed and retailed by me. Most of this is the shanty town buildings
thanks for the vidéo :) i'm juste beggning to make terrains, this is helpfull, thanks for your work
Glad to help! Terrain making is fun and freeing
Exactly, your craft knife skills leave to be desired. I'm sure mdf kits are the next best thing. However, please don't make them look as brilliant as they're not... Thank you.
For me that’s the whole point. Take a budget friendly kit and make it look better than it should be. Anyone can do it and enjoy the process
Absolute Hero for making this
Thanks!
What material did you use for basing the terrainpieces? Cheers mate
Hi. This was medium thickness card. Then I want over it with a Vallejo texture paste and a wash
Im building aome now and i hate it!
This is a great video! Very explanatory great job!
Thanks. I’m glad it was good
This was a really well done video, but it made me realise that in games like this (warhammer 40k and such) both armies are always meant to be symetrical in the battle. There is never an attacker vs defender or scenario like rescue team/VIP and its sad for viewers because external to the rules there is very little to be on the edge for, no stakes nor story to be told
This was definitely one we did as deliberately balanced to introduce the game. I’ve done some more narrative ones over on Dice and Easy Games
I ove the idea of coffee table sized game Unless i'm misunderstanding... why does shrinking the scal reduce the play time?
I find we play more fast and loose. Spend less time agonising over the accurate movement to the mm and just move minis and roll dice with a lot more flexibility about how it fits the rules. Possibly play style as well as the scale change
Wow! Glad I found this video. Looks really awesome. If you ship outside the UK, I’ll order.
Hey sorry crazy week. Yes I ship globally via a fully insured and trackable courier. I’ve sent them as far as Australia recently!
Great tutorial. Not sure you can actually recycle MDF as it's full of (epoxy?) binders.
I’ve seen it go in the containers at my recycling centre without issue but this may be something that varies regionally. Not Sure to be honest
@@rokminis59 Might get pulled out at the other end and sent off to one of those waste to energy furnace operations?
If wood gets recycled, I suspect it gets ground up and turned into…. wait for it… MDF!
I really don’t know now. I assumed before it could be used again I make new MDF but I’ve not seen anything about it on our council recycling info
@sirrathersplendid4825 yeah, though that's gonna vary wildly depending on what gets done with the wood. My suspicion would be most of it gets covertly burnt for biomass or landfilled.
Love me some 10mm fantasy.
It’s great! I need to do an updated version of this really!
Nice video and great demo of the FSD game mechanics! What scale are your miniatures in? 6 mm (from free samples/MyMiniFactory) seem to be smaller than your models? Thanks!
Hi. I printed everything in its native 6mm scale as designed. No scale up used. Thanks!
Is it possible to buy STLs?
Yes. Available from Forest Dragon, Greenskin Miniatures and Ankylo on Gumroad
This is awesome!
Thanks! I definitely keeps the hobby rolling with less space to worry about!
Great video, terrain and armies look amazing! Tried looking at your Facebook and messaging through website with no luck. What do you use for your bases?
Sorry, I haven’t seen a notification at all. I cut them myself from 2mm MDF sheets. It’s a good balance of thickness and cost
I was unable to send a message via website and link to facey didn’t work. Just feedback, not being critical 😊
@nealbarton7434 not an ounce of offence taken. Technically regularly lets me down! 😂
Still need to try some
It’s right up your alley!
Great video. The minis look quality too. What did you use on the bases to make them look the way they do?
Thanks! That was Vallejo texture paste. Sprinkle on a few bits of grit. Pop the minis feet in glue then in the paste let it all dry into one piece
Cant find this stuff anywhere in Canada
Really? I get mine from TTCombat and I’m sure that they ship globally and they used to have a good free postage package if you ordered a few kits
Nice video man! Great job. Where is the kit from? Would love to build my own with your advice from the video.
Hi, it’s on my website. I absolutely should have dropped the product link in the description! I’ll do that now
I find that submerging the minis in hot water is a better way for me to remove the supports. This is what I have done with the 10mm S.W. Figures I bought off you at SELWG. I do love those minis by the way!
Great tip! I think that’s got to be a better way to go with the supports that are a frame around the minis Vs the ones that do direct to the minis base. I should do Another vid on the sci fi stuff and include this. Cheers and glad you’re happy with them

Jon Schaffer is owner.. copy rights.. Full Spectrum Dominance
Hi, sorry I’m a little confused here as the game to my knowlege is owned by The Lazy Forger. Am I missing a connection here? Happy to learn more if you can point out what you mean
Very cool. I dig it!
Thanks! It’s such a great game
You sir, deserve more views.
Thanks, that’s real kind! I don’t make enough vids these days to even vaguely appease the algorithm 😂
Just came across this video .. where did those floor parts come from .. home made ?
Hi, I made them myself in an earlier video on the build but am considering doing the frime to sell as I get asked about them
@@rokminis59 Well ... GW caught up with you on the terrain tiles it seems 😅
Just discovering this game and finding it doesn't get the love it deserves. Lazy Forger mentioned more factions to come for this game and they've yet to appear. Perhaps you as a merchant might now more on that. I hope there are more factions to be released soon and that Lazy Forger isn't trying to live up to their namesake.
Ha ha ha. It’s a great name choice as I know their designs well now and they’re not lazy! I know that the PMC/Corporation army is out this year but I spot have any other inside info sadly but I trust them to nail it when it’s out! There is background for the scavengers and that’s what excites me!
@@rokminis59 That's great news. The beautifully designed models drew me in quickly. I became a bit apprehensive about getting into the game with only seeing two factions and not seeing much info about more armies on the way. Your response has me on the game rules bandwagon. Thanks so much.
It is a great game. I made this to show off the mechanics but Bill and I genuinely loved playing it
@@rokminis59 based on my enjoyment of watching this video, I wouldn't mind seeing more of your games with Full Spectrum Dominance. I'm sure it would also help the game get noticed more as well as maybe help you with selling your prints too.
Yeah I really should do more like that! I’ll convince some friends! In the mean time I do other games with friends on Dice and Easy Games here on YT
Looks great ❤
Thanks! I know you like a bit of grime
Im gonna have to figure out how to paint these wood elves but soon
I did wood elves early on and if your going with the spring/summer greens then contrast would be the way for me. For autum/winter I think a colour primer of brown/blue would save a lot of time
More!
Would love to be playing and doing more! Hoping they add new models soon and the range keeps growing
@@rokminis59 Hopewith wave 2 now :) ! Thanks for this cool report
It’s looking amazing! Just test printed the armies and they’re incredible
In the first part of this tutorial, it ended with all the extra detail finished, and this video starts with the terrain already primed. I might have missed it, but did you use something to seal the MDF before priming or did you go straight on with the primer? I've just ordered a ton of TTCombat terrain for a Necromunda table but have never painted MDF before and there is a raging debate in the hobby on how best to / whether you should seal the MDF first. Would love to know what you did on this kit!
Hi! Did you watch part 1 about the build and texture stage? The primed minis I show at 1:00 are with the colours shown at the front, the dark tones that I talked about for contrast. These are just graffiti art paints. They’re not water based so the MDF doesn’t swell up and come In many colours. Alternatively the new TTC (made since the video came out) are amazing for MDF by design. If you use a traditional primer then yea, a seal of PVA does help but a TTC or graffiti paint you can just go straight onto the MDF. My additional building steps and painting steps will definitely bring out the best in the terrain. Especially all dirty for Necromunda
@@rokminis59 Thanks for the quick reply! I did watch part 1 but must have missed where you talked about this. Which new TTC product are you refering to? Their primer spray cans? If so, they're only available in the UK and I'm in the EU.
Ah right in that case Montana/Kobra/Molatov spray paints are the ones. That brown start point is just a single coat, no sealing needed
@@rokminis59 Montana is made in Germany which is where I live and I can get cans for quite cheap, so that's great news! Do you know if it can also be used on plastic / resin minis as a primer? Because that would save me sooooo much money!
Checkout videos by Marco Frisoni (Not Just Mecha) as he goes really in depth as a professional artist on what cans and caps to use
Had a great conversation with the staff at Salute 23. The team play this game at pubs 😂. The minis are amazing!
Oh that’s awesome to hear! We are always adding new armies and terrain so keep up on our socials and share any games you play!
Do they come already painted?
Hi, no they’re all printed models that need painting but I have a video here that shows the best ways to go about it
@@rokminis59 Ok. Did you sculpt them yourself?
Hi, they’re licensed from digital sculptors
Currently ordering one as I write, with plans to do more as paychecks allow. Any plans to add Dwarfs/Dwarves to the roster at some point?
Awesome, thanks! Yea, dwarves are half sculpted and due in July
Nice nice.
Thanks!
how do I buy this ?
Hi Vanessa, I have box sets and army options on my website: www.rokminis.com/shop?Category=Warmaster Thanks!
Just ordered. Great idea!
Thanks Nick!
Ooooh that’s a fancy kit! Love it :)
You done good chap!
How big is the warmaster playmat?
Hi! I don’t sell the Warmaster mat any more as it’s 6x4 feet. I do have the Kings of War mats at 22x30 inch. If you need a mat I recommend Tiny Wargames as a mat maker
@@rokminis59 thanks for a prompt reply!! Great content!! Also wandering i have warmaster trays, where did u get the movement trays and square to round base tray in the vids? I wanna start kow 10mm thanks to ur video
I make them myself. These days I laser cut them for speed
Well made video, thank you for the information
Thanks, glad it was useful!
The plaster of paris drying by chemical reaction is a great bit of info! I've had issues with warping. How has the plaster managed after a year since this video was made? Still solid and stable? :)
Yeah it stays set for life unless you try and destroy it. It’s all held up well and terrain i made many years ago this way is still going!
super fine. Especially the skeleton unit was quite impressive after just a short time. I cannot wait until you paint maybe some rok-stuff for epic scifi. Recently I have bought the new valejo range for their constrast paints. I am curious how they work. I have tried their contrast black on a 28mm minotaur and its looks very well so far.
Yes I must do some of the 6mm stuff to show the scale difference! I really want to get the Vallejo ones to try out!
@@rokminis59 I am not sure if I am competent enough to give an opinion about the series. I bought the complete range, but tried only 5 or 6 of them. I always thought that of the 3 lines from Army Painter, GW and now Valejo there are good colors and not so good ones. For example I like the red and the brown from army painter speed paint and I like the white from contrast. The goblin green contrast from Valejo I like best from all 5 colors I tried yet, but the dark green I find not very good. But contrary to you I am only a medium skilled painter, so my opinion is not worth much I guess.
Everyone’s opinion is worthy! As a developing painter, you are probably the target group for GW/AP over Vallejo, so your opinion there is very valuable! I’ll def grab some to test them out
Don't be afraid to tear that sponge dude!
I’ll just hulk out and shred it to bits 😂
Good video. It seems like a nice little system. I might have to pick it up. It looks like it does quite a bit without needing loads of dice. Expanding beyond the usual D6 does allow for a lot more nuance and interesting mechanics. Poor Bill, he seems to have my luck with dice. If we ever played a game, I imagine nowt would die.
He’s not blessed with great rolls. Don’t doubt that it balances out in a game we recorded for his Chanel last month though! Warzone Morloc. Yeah we loved the game and the minis definitely are a real winner. Very proud to have them listed as the designs are excellent
Nice Video but I have a question. Did you activate your artillery twice in one turn? it seemed like it shot at the mech when it came in and also later at the infantery
Not that I’m aware of as we tilted the cards but possibly a slip while playing and filming. No recollection that far back in time!
@@rokminis59 Did you play this in 15mm or in 6mm?
This was 6mm but they could be scaled as you like and the distance unit system means it’s flexible
🙈 Promo>SM!!
Sorry, don’t get what you mean there
Really enjoyed your video. Those bases look great on the Tech BTW. What size bases are you using?
Hi Jason, These are just files that I printed and include in the box set. I think I just made infantry 20x30 and rounded the edges. Made them in Blender. Then topped with Vallejo paste and some gavel
look up Maximilian Riede pleaseeeee
Sorry, was unable to make the connections here
I saw you use the resione brand resin, would you mind sharing which resin exactly?
