Awesome video. Excellent idea on the gift pack. I'll make sure to create some of my own. Thanks for sharing the ideas and cheers from South Texas.
Hi from Saskatchewan Canada! 😊 I'm glad you liked it. It's definitely the kind of gift idea I'd be excited about getting.
Yeah! I'm gonna make Jeff watch this, but he said no more tote bags today when I showed in one 😂
@alittlegeekalittlechic4592 Lol! But you can never have too many tote bags!!!
That’s really cool! Where did you get the calendar?
Hi! I found mine on Amazon: amzn.to/4f5m462 But I've also seen this at Indigo Books
That’s so cute ❤
Hi I look after 5 yrs old kids any holidaybooks you recommend for that age? (No Christmas some don't celebrate it)
Hi! To keep things neutral for those who don't celebrate, my suggestion would be books about winter or the season. Some ideas are Frostfire, The Wish Tree , and The Mitten. I also really like Robert Munch's I Have to Go. Hope this is helpful!
@@bookshelfbunny thank you so much! Now all I have to worry about is the lice outbreak 😅
so cool I wish I had that plus love the music
It's been really cute so far!
Love this insight Kim! Is it a good app for writers too?
Indie authors can sell their books on Fable using draft2digital and selecting Fable as a retailer. I don't see anything like an author profile option like on Goodreads, at least not yet.
Hi Kim! I just subscribed to your channel and I love it! Soo light and joyous and lots of fun!! 😃🐰I have heard soo many good things about Fable recently, so thank you for going a little more in-depth into what it does and it's functions, really appreciate it! I am a longtime Goodreads user but I may just have to have a little look into Fable, it does sound wonderful! Anyways hope you're having fun and happy reading!! 😃📘📚
Hi! It's so nice to meet you. Thanks for subbing! I'm glad you found this video helpful 😊. If you join Fable, add me so I can follow you!
@@bookshelfbunny Thanks Kim, sounds great! So glad I found your channel, your content makes me smile lots!! 😃😃Hope you're having a beautiful day! Happy reading!! 😃📚
I spat my green tea out at the pumps comment 😂 Both sound fun and warming!
🤣🤣🤣
And yes… I think it’s been clear I love this new venture for linkin park 😂❤
I love this idea, and love this insight too!!
Lol nerd 😊
Good luck with your nanowrimo goal! Im happy to hear that you're doing well with your cozy booktrovert hobbies! ❤
Jess!! Thanks 😊
I just finished the Spell Shop, and thought it was a really cute story!
I'm really excited about it! I've heard it's a cozy read.
Not for me with nanowrimo, but that’s always just been my preference. Hope to hear more about these short stories!
Totally fair. It definitely isn't for everyone.
Sounds like you had a great day! I haven’t been book shopping for a while as my TBR is currently big enough 😂
You have more self-restraint than me! 😅 I just keep adding to my TBR lol
I'm up to about 120 books bought this year, and I have 3 preorders coming in Oct 😊 -Swordcrossed by Freya marske (romantasy) -The Waiting by Michael Connelly (mystery) -Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne (epix fantasy) One I read and enjoyed recently was Kingdom of Exiles by Maxym M Marrineau, which is about a "beast charmer" which is like a magical Pokemon trainer and a group of shadow assassins
@zachreads Wow! 120 new books in a year, not even including your coming pre-orders is epic!!! Kingdom of Exiles sounds good. I might have to read that 🤔.
That is a nice little early bday pressie! I won’t lie, I was prepared to judge your cooking 😂
Lol! Full disclosure, my cooking is really low-key. I'm not the best cook, so I keep things simple. My hubby is the culinary adventurer.
I’m from India, grew up in Qatar and used to read Asterix! Great haul ❤
Not sure about the new generations. But we have fans of Asterix in the UK 😊 Glad you guys had an awesome time.
Very intriguing!!! I don’t actually know which is my favourite Disney movie, I grew up on a different genre 😂
What sorts of things did you grow up watching? I grew up with some pretty widespread genres, too, lol. Disney is just one. I also grew up watching things like Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Beetlejuice, and Goosebumps (which probably contributed to my love of all things dark and twisty 😅). Then there were all the 80's cartoon reruns (He-Man, She-Ra, Rainbow Bright, that type of thing), and of course, good old Looney Toons. Then there is all the anime, lol. Like, a lot of anime.
@@bookshelfbunny that’s a wholesome set to grow up on. I grew up on Alien, Predator, and Freddy 😂❤️
All fabulous movies! I'm a big fan of all three 🥰
gotta keep your stuff cool
That sounds like an amazing trip!! I do apologise for London in advanced 😂
Lol! It wasn't so bad. We didn't run into any of the demonstrations. Watched the news stories, though. Looked pretty tense. I have to say, the streets are tight. We caught a taxi to the Sherlock museum, and he took those corners like a boss, lol. I don't think I'd be confident enough to drive there! The tube was great, though. Saskatchewan doesn't have anything like that.
I love the dual killer concept… sounds like a banger!
Thank you, B. That was cool 💯
Ive been moid reading bc last month I had 7 bookclubs/buddyreads which sucked quite a bit of fun out of the month. Ive only been in the mood for historical fiction so my last 7 books have taken place between 1194 and 1347 and my one buddy read is in 1877 which isn't too far from where i want to be at the moment. The one thing I just found that came out 3 days ago is Karmilla by Luna Fury which is my fav smut author retelling my fav classic vampire story. Hope your bunny is no longer feeling funny❤ I do have a bunny book on my tbr, if you've ever seen the old movie Harvey about the guy who sees a giant invisible rabbit, I just learned its based on a book by Mary Chase
I hear you. It can get discouraging when a book feels like an obligation. Historical fiction is fun! What's your favorite? I adore Vampire stories 😍!! I might have to check out the bunny book. It sounds interesting!
@@bookshelfbunny All-time 5☆+5♡ historical fiction is The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave! Daughters of the Night Sky by Aimie K Runyan is a good one that is considerably lighter.
So glad your bunny is feeling better!
Thanks! Me too lol
Haven't read the witching hour. Started reading Anne Rice years ago but never finished her works other than a few books. Been thinking of re starting the vampire chronicles
So proud of you Kim! Small wins or big wins… you’re smashing it
Aww, thank you 😊
I was so shocked when you said that book was $25 😅
I tried to read how to sell a haunted house but the parental death at the beginning made me so sad I never got too far into it, I’m glad you enjoyed it
Looks great! Kobo glow up! Thanks for the video
Thank YOU for watching 🥰
Hey Kim. Pachinko looks like something I would love! June is a busy one for me, and I might have something coming your way at the end of it!
It was a good book, you should read it! And OMG!!! I'm so excited!!!
Hey Kim, have you read "The Song of Achilles"? I'm reading it right now and it would fit into your LGBTQ+ criteria
I haven't read that! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll get it!
@@bookshelfbunny I’m reading it free on kindle unlimited
The town I grew up in does a city wide garage sale every year. I don't live there anymore but it was so fun to do! I was hoping you would pick up the guest list! Id like to hear your thoughts on it because I haven't read it yet but it looks good. ❤
You did really well!!! The guest list was so good
👍😁👍
❤
This was a good one for sure! I should read more from Grady Hendrix. Any suggestions on which book to read next from him?
Everything I've read by him so far I've loved! Have you read My Best Friends Exorcism? That one was great! There is a movie based on the book too!
Does sound like a cool premise 🙌🙌
Awesome review! Can't wait to checkout the book myself. Cheers.
Cheers on the cozy setup of your room. I agree with April and March as well. Something about March Madness that still carries over until April. Cheers and have a good one.
👍😁👍
Have you ever read the "Jesus Christ " books that Rice had worked on and what are your thoughts? It seems like Rice changed her type of writing with these new type of tales. Cheers and have a great eve.
Yes! I've heard of this change, but I haven't read anything from that phase.
Awesome haul and cheers from South Texas. Free comic book day was definitely an awesome day!
Thanks! Hi from Saskatchewan Canada, S. Texas! I love FCBD. It's always a good time.
👍😁👍
👍😁👍
🥰📚🎮
That sucks that April hasnt been good to you! Im hoping for best for Loki. ❤ Your hobby room looks so incredibly cool though! Hopefully things look up in May.
Thanks Jess!! Loki has been doing better. It's been a week now since her last tummy issue, so I'm hoping she's gotten past it now. 🤞 I'm absolutely in love with my hobby room!!!
Wow, that looks like bunny heaven 🐰
They like the space, for sure. The sacrifice of my living room looking nice is totally worth it. 🥰🐰
What a nice set up! I’m jealous
Thanks! 🥰
Ditching work to go to a book sale sounds so fun! I always enjoy seeing the bunnies 😍 I can't believe you had a snowstorm but at least it melted quick!
Lol... I went again today. 😅 I'm just glad the sale is close to my work so we can make it during lunch!
so surprised to know you and a little geek a little chic are co-workers! there are banana bread pop tarts?? omg!! as a banana girlie, i NEED! i've been in such a gaming mood lately. any cozy game recs?
The pop tats are so yummy!! I reccomend Sky: Children of the Light if you haven’t tried it yet!
