Parawing Collapse tips
Parawing Collapsing Tips. There are many ways to collapse your parawing, but this is how I do it. I have small hands, and not very long arms, so I find this technique works best for me.
Side note: mounting an action camera on the nose of your board, in light winds, is a very bad idea! The parawing lines got caught on the camera in a jibe. I was outside in some sizable surf and went down. Trying to relaunch the wing was a nightmare, as the lines kept wrapping around the camera, while I was dealing with the surf. After about 5 failed relaunch attempts, I had to remove the camera, and put it in my shorts to get back to the beach. No the camera was not running when it was in my shorts.🤣 I onl...

Getting up and riding swell on a 2.9m BRM parawing. I’m riding a MikesLab 825 foil, No Limitz 78cm mast, 65 liter 5’9” x 19” board, and a 2.9m BRM parawing. Follow up video to include more details of collapsing and wading of the wing.

Dan Taylor, Erik Estrem and I enjoyed a 10 mile parawing assisted downwind run to Ka’a Point. The conditions were not super windy and the swells were not very big, so we didn’t completely stow our Parawings, in case we needed a boost. It’s good advice to know how to jibe, wad and stow your parawing before attempting a long downwinder on a smaller, mid length board. Being able to successfully re...

Next level flight down the coast of Kihei! Thanks to the parawing, I can foil up and tow myself to the bumps on a relatively tiny board without a paddle. Wind was not super strong, so I stowed a backup 2.9m parawing in my PFD hydration pocket. I had to use the 1.8m for longer then normal, since the bumps were not good for awhile. Stowing the parawing for the duration of the flight is a serious ...

First Surf on The MikesLab 825 foil!

Small Fall swell and my first SUP foil session on the MikesLab 825 foil, paired with a 72cm MikesLab plate mast. Effortless glide, speed, control, and surf ability on this foil. Excellent pump ability as well. Probably the surfiest of all the Mikeslab’s I have even ridden. So excited to see how far, and how fast I can fly this beauty for Parawing and SUP downwind Maliko runs! Thanks for the cli...

Using a BRM 1.8m Parawing, I scored a 9 mile downwind run on a mid length 65 liter board! No paddle, no longboard. The 5’9” board felt so surfy and insane. Very addictive!

Flat Water Foil Up

I’ve been attending Jeremy Riggs Flat Water Pop up Clinics here on Maui. It’s a long, physical road, but I’m finally getting some success. Lots of help and lift from the SAB foil Leviathan 1350.

The Basics of Getting Up on a Wing Foil Board
Did you die your wing? Im curious what you used if so? Shredding!
I wrote a comment about your Rodeo on the new Gong lowkite release video. I hope you will get lot of views 😊
Great tip. Its not too bad collapsing the 2.9m but the 5m is challenging and this approach looks more manageable.
Nice tip, thanks
Really nice🎉
Well done, this is very helpful! You have it all well dialled.
How did you dye your wing?

Nice! Well done! Can't wait to get back on island!
Nice video and good instructions, thanks! What size board, and foild are you using and how strong was the wind?
MikesLab 825 foil and a 65 liter 5’9” x 19” custom KT board. Wind is averaging about 20-24 mph. Probably 18-29mph range. I am over powered in a couple of the clips (you can see it accordion flap) because I don’t have a harness on, but it wasn’t windy enough for the 1.8m.
I like it ! Give me plenty of ideas. I’m waiting for the new Lowkite GONG (supposed to be cheap ), or the ENSIS Roger , only 3 m2 but very nice, with safety leash to play Rodeo .
Brilliant
Awesome easy looking pops.
Smooth!
Genius!!!
Hi, Whatis your blue board?😮
Awesome video
Nice foot switch!
I still dont understand how the boards sticks on the feets while doint all that turns
Wow. Do you have velcro on your feet?
Tasty jam.Had to be light to be riding that big brown board.
Last 3 days trying to land one of this trick. None of them😭😅
It takes a very long time to learn, and having very strong wind is key to learning. Once you figure it out you can do them in less wind, but you want 25mph or more to learn. Keep trying!
@@cynthiacynbadbrown4916 for sure I will thanks
0:34 ... now that's goofy! :-D
rocking :D
incredible skills!
Fun video. Love the wind!
Girl you rock :)

Thanks....Soo Good....hope to be able to do this !
Love It!!! Inspiring!! You have amazing power and grace!!!
Cynthia nice vid....I have the vanguard love it but it is heavy. Are the new boards lighter? I noticed it looks like you have the surf version of the Vader with a strip of carbon on the bottom? Mahalo!
Just purchased an old soloshot 1 but it doesnt have any tags/transmitters. any idea where to get any? really looking forward to give it a shot!
you're awesome! good tutorial and easy to follow.
Hi. I have a question about my board actually ! I just bought a 5'10" board with three fins (20" width, 2"5/8 thickness and 35L volume) and had a freacking hard time the first time I tried it ! It is a surf board but it has exactly the same characteristics as a Slingshot Celeritas but 500$ cheaper ! Is it normal to have such a hard time at the beginning or it is because it's a surf board ? it is the Bic 5'10 Duratec Fish if you want the exact name of the board !
if it is heavy weight need more wind, but regular surf board no problem, is all about technic
Thx Roby. I am already riding it. It was just a matter of practicing and technic like you said.
very nice.
you forgot your main sponsor at the end titles - Loctite ;-)
Merci bien pour tes videos. What's your board's measurements? Any recommendations for a board?
Thanks..nice video. Will attempt next..By the way what board is that?
Keep shreding !
Hi There, So here you use some chop to get air. Is it possible in flat water? (toe side or hill side)?
