Dark kitchen, now darker by blocking all that beautiful sunlight. Who needs kitchen curtains? A valance at most.
@jfitzsimmons4825 The camera isn't doing the lighting any justice - it's much lighter in person. The cabinets used to be dark brown, but I sanded them down to bare wood and put light stain on them. Right now the flooring is a concrete slab - I have a light color tile that will be going in. LOL, its definitely a work in progress. 🙂
Beautiful curtains! Love them! I'm currently working on a blanket for my granddaughter, i'm in my 50s and have no clue how to sew with a sewing machine. I sew by hand.
@happyhunter5533 Kudos to you for sewing by hand!! I only hand sew to mending clothes - don't think I could do a whole sewing project by hand. 😲 I learned how to sew on a machine in high school - then didn't touch a sewing machine until doing these curtains.
@@mamabearlivinglife I have been sewing by hand since I was 5 years old. I took different classes, I could have taken Home-economic but I didn't. My mother used to use a sewing machine all the time when I was little and have always been interested in sewing. I just never learned how to use the machine. I love working with my hands

@@mamabearlivinglife actually let me make a correction, the seeds contain cyanide not arsenic, but arsenic is found in nature. It is in soil but it's so spread out that there is no "harm". Sorry I get them mixed up for some reason
