MAKING THREAD PRETTY you must be thinking about a different glitter vinyl. This vinyl has a clear coat on top of the vinyl that does not come off. The glitter is under the clear coat. It's kind of like epoxied in if I was to describe it.

This is not HTV this is sewing vinyl "faux" leather if that's how you want to look at it. It can be purchased in many places but the one she is talking about is mypunkbroidery.com they have a great selection of shiny vinyls (glitter, mirrored, mermaid scales, "patent" leather as well as some basketball, and football, and softball looking ones.
The glitter vinyl I purchased was specifically for applique but it has a rough, sandy finish on top. It kept fraying and breaking my thread. What are your thoughts on this?
This is not HTV it's considered marine vinyl like vinyl seats in a car not heat transfer. This one she is using is from mypunkbroidery.com and is simply called black glitter.
When did you put the pink dot on top, is it vinyl?
Good job
You don't peal the backing off? I did not see that shown
Where do I purchase this kind of product?
Some great information, thank you.
Where do you get the vinyl from?
What’s the thing called that you have your thread on?
I was wondering the same thing.
What the name of it and where you get it from
Can I use the fusible glitter flex on the decorative side of a potholder?

With punkbroidery vinyl you do not have to remove a film because there isn't any. www.punkbroidery.com
