So good to see a skilled D9 pilot! But man, the engine audio for D9 is probably the worst of all warbirds in DCS. So much of that ArmA like artificial revving. I hope Diveplane11 mods can still be recovered somewhere.

Did anyone notice mavericks oxygen mask falling off I did and I knew viper jester and the third guy heard the argument so when iceman called out that maverick was in a flat spin viper jester and the third guy must of called the coast guard to rescue Them

I often forget how well P47's dogfight, then I see this. Absolutely good rudder work stay above or under the nose of the enemy when scissor fighting or rolling with them.

I appreciate they got actual footage of the actors in F-18s in Top Gun 2, but I actually prefer Top Gun 1's cockpit scenes; they felt more claustrophobic and really felt like you were in the plane with them. The set design folks did a really good job. The cockpit in TG2 just felt too "spacious".

I could watch Tomcat video all day.... I wish they had kept 1 around for touring air shows, I'll never forget seeing the demo teams as a kid in the 80/90's, it was amazing.

The first time I showed this movie to my niece was a couple days before the sequel came out. When engine 2 flames out and Mav says he's losing control, she looked at me with a terrified look on her face realizing something bad was about to happen. Goose was her fav character. 35 years old and still invoking emotion in people. This movie is a goddamn masterpiece
